I do wish the Wordle thread could be made to work on GC!  And I find the big pics and cartoons on the mods' profiles annoying - though they themselves are friendly enough.  Just have to get used to it I suppose.

    I’m sure I saw a post from @D0rdogne_Damsel
Does anyone know what the purpose is of ‘following’ people on GC? I’ve followed a couple of regulars from here, assuming it would mean I can find them easily. I don’t want anyone to think I am a creepy stalker!

I’ve done the same @Ergates, but like you, not sure of its purpose. Maybe someone will come along and enlighten us 😊.
  • @Ergates and @Red maple. I just used Bluejaysay for the test:
follow someone - in your profile go to People I follow - click on the linked name of the person you follow - next to Profile posts tab, click on Posts tab. Then you can see the posts.

Where are you seeing “ the linked name” of the person you follow @Simone_in_Wiltshire? I’ve got as far as finding the people I follow but a bit lost after that! Can you help please?

@Ergates @Simone_in_Wiltshire @Red maple @Songbird-2 I’ve “followed” everybody that’s moved from here to GC, thinking that was the best way not to lose anybody.  It does feel a little bit stalkerish I must admit 😂🤣😂

Hello everybody,  a dismal soft of day here so no gardening unfortunately. Instead we joined friends for lunch at a canalside pub and it was good to have a natter.

Coming home we had to do a fairly long diversion to avoid a local town and it's hideous
roadworks. Just having a cuppa now and reading the papers.

Have a good weekend all and see you on GC when I can summon up enough energy!
Don't feel in the mood at the moment.
