I tried to go to the "other side" but during the signing-in a technical error must have occurred and I am banned. Not a good start.Ā

    Hello all.

We are back at my home in France. Good thing it's a sunny day and quite mild. It was chilly inside, old stone cottage, but OH lit the fires then we went to the SM.

The garden is looking lush, parts are very wet and squelch when walked on. All the roses look very well but the shrubby blue salvias, apart from one, have died. I think most of the perennials are OK, but not sure about the big agastache which looks dead. The clematis are all growing.

There is a problem with the front electric gate. Good thing I took the key for the side gate. It stays shut and won't open. I have to turn it off to open it manually.

I haven't had time yet to look at GC or set up my laptop. I would rather look at GC on my laptop, it's so small on my phone. I will be EtoileViolette there, as I said last night.

    Evening Forkers friends.

Horrible rain here - it was a wipers on full situation driving home. I’ve just collected my new glasses and sunglasses from optician. No danger of the sunglasses being used yet though!Ā

I hope everyone is doing ok. I’ve spotted some of you on t’other forum šŸ˜‰

Hi everyoneĀ  Ā quick update on the eye clinic.Ā  Had the scanĀ  different machine so didn't need the dilation drops.Ā  Just as well my wife drove though as IĀ  was half way through all the tests before she joined me, parking was horrendous.Ā
Anyway,Ā  IĀ  might have some Wet AMD,Ā  but it's too early to be certain,Ā  no treatmentĀ  yet,Ā  it might resolve on it's own. Back to clinic at end of April.Ā  Ā
As mentioned this morning I won't be around for the end of this forum so bye byeĀ  for now.Ā

On Monday I start working along side my self employment at a very well respected local nursery in Suffolk called Katie's garden. If anyone is looking for excellent plant knowledge and a proper independent nursery then look no further!!! šŸ‘šŸ˜

I think any one of us could do a tour of the UK and beyond and not go far before we bumped into a forum friend @AnniD 😁 so if you're ever in Suffolk...pop in!

I thought we have all policed enough spam threads on this site....I may as well put up a decent advert @diggersjo! šŸ˜‰
