Hazel my OH can’t drive anything electrical because of his blackouts . We do have a wheelchair which he rarely uses . He wants to keep walking no matter how slowly .He doesn’t want to give in .He is quite determined. I admire him for that although sometimes I feel concerned that he shouldn’t push himself . Thank you so much for your concern .
Rubee, hope your Oh will manage to the clinic today. I'm so sorry to read that he is in constant pain. I really hope he will get some relief.
Very strange day was yesterday. It started with lovely sunshine, but very soon rain and wind started. Last night we had another storm with high wind. Luckily no damage at all. It's raining now, and it's cold, only 4 ℃. I couldn't log in on the forum whole afternoon. There was note with maintenance in progress. It's ok now, little bit slow, but acceptable. I must finish my cup of tea and go out. Monday.
Good morning Ante and all arriving later. Gosh Ante, that was quite a big change in your weather yesterday. It does seem like we are all experiencing most unusual weather patterns these last few years. We have to adapt don't we?
Ruby I am so, so sorry hearing all the troubles your OH goes through. He, and you, sound like real troopers and I take my hat off to you both. Fingers crossed that the appointments this week bring some respite for your OH.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
We enjoyed a glass of wine with our friends last night. They said we could stay with them on our way to the French north coast to catch the ferry if we want to break the journey. We may well do so, but next time we come to Norfolk we'll be flying. We go back to France by ferry on Wednesday. This morning we are going to T'sco to get a few things to take back.

Good morning Busy. It must be exciting planning your new trip this week. Are you taking your car on the ferry or are you meaning flying back on a future trip?

Good morning all very pleasant afternoon and some little Mother’s Day treats. Rained all day and raining again this morning. Hope @Rubee and other half can get some better help and support today.
Work later going in early to cover for a colleague who was taken to hospital at 3am this morning with chest pains. Stress related and hopefully not serious.
We are taking my car on the ferry this time. In May we'll fly. That will only be a short visit because my son wants to come to stay for a week with his 5 small children. Our friends only go to France for the summer months.

Morning all, must say I slept quite well last night, first time in what feels like ages. It’s stopped raining but it’s cold and damp, pretty miserable really. Had a nice day yesterday with some treats from the family. Got these from 23….. see how the fairy theme is being continued after it first appeared with the fairy doors all those years ago on here…….
Good luck today Rubee. Busy, busy time for you now again as you prepare to return to France. Hope all goes well. Debs, hope your friend is alright, this is what stress can do so hope she recovers. Ante, what an awful day for you weather wise. Pleased there was no damage and fingers crossed for calmer times,. I, too, had that message yesterday on here, couldn’t get on for a little while.
Debs, your poor colleague! Must have been reacting to all the upset at your pharmacy.
Hazel, I actually had a better night's sleep last night too. Fingers crossed that continues. Love your fairy! Is she holding a little butterfly in her hands?
