LB, yes it looks something like a butterfly(!). I fancied OH painting it but he said to leave it alone as is. 23 wants them dotted about in the garden….along with all “ his” other ‘little things’ accumulated over the years.😊 All placed very discreetly all over the garden with the original two fairies ( bought when we did the doors) in amongst two clematis.
It is pretty @Red maple and thank you for your nice words. I love it but it’s only a baby yet so looking forward to when it gets growing a bit more and covers some more of the fence. It’s such a delight to see it on these cold dark spring days.
Hazel, your Exochorda is beautiful and, as you intimated, it will be glorious when it gets to full size.
I had Lily's TV on earlier but I don't think there is much 'drying' in the atmosphere - at least the wet cloth things will have had an airing. I also got another clematis tidied up and I filled the bird feeder in the back garden. It was too unpleasant outside to do very much. I am quizzing in Bolton tonight - looking forward to that.

Lovely Bride bush Hazel, and so sweet present from 23. It's nice to have some colour in the garden, especially when weather is miserable.
It's still raining, and everything is soaked. All plans for any kind of outside gardening are off. I might sow squashes and courgettes when I come back from school. I don't have anything special to report since yesterday, it was just another Monday. Looking forward to next Friday and first episode of GW.
A very good morning Ante and all arriving soon. Ante you might be pleased to hear that you are not on your own starting the day with a rainy morning! We got beaten last night at the quiz but it was still a fun evening.
I'm not sure what I might do today - a bit of sorting out for the charity shop again possibly. I will just see how the day evolves.
