Good morning all. @Rubee hope your OH can get some better support would it be possible to speak to anyone at the bandaging clinic? To prevent a recurrence of what is obviously incorrect treatment?
@Ladybird4 why not ring the pharmacy to chat to a pharmacist about the new tablets they may be able to put your mind at rest. Poor show that the doctor didnt talk to you about it first though.
I had some garden time yesterday trying to clear brambles etc
Raining today I am off to oldest daughter later for Mother’s Day lunch with some of my children and grandchildren.
Hope you all have a good Sunday.

Morning all from a very cold and wet North East. Pouring down with rain and heating has been put on as it’s so cold.

Happy Mother’s day to all Mothers including mums to pets😊🙂 All doing such a grand job, not just today, but every other day of the year. Well done!💐💐💐💐……( Also happy dad’s /mum’s day, on the side, to Ante and Biglad, they do such a good job too of looking after their families and act as Mums too😊🙂).
Ive tried phoning my mum this morning but no one is answering. They must be busy so will try again later.

Ante ,pleased to read everyone had a good time browsing castles, monasteries ,  vineyards and farms and you with all your goodies from the garden centre. Don’t overdo it today though, you’re bound to be tired after all the travelling.

Rubee, how are OH’s legs today? Any easier yet or is it too soon yet?

    Morning all.

About 6 of us made 75 posies yesterday for the Mothering Sunday service today. We came back from a lovely Mothering Sunday service with 3 posies, one is for our NDN. There was chocolate cake and coffee. There were a lot of people there.

I won't have anything from my children as Mothers' Day in France is in May.

This evening we are going for drinks with our friends down the road who also have a home in France.

I went to Neuschwanstein Castle on a family holiday with my parents when I was in my teens. It was very beautiful and romantic looking.

    Afternoon all.
Hazel, that is a lovely post of yours!
Busy, I can imagine that those posies went down very well indeed. A lovely gesture. It has been tipping down all day here. Nothing new there then. Hey ho! Enjoy your evening drinks.

    Good afternoon,

It’s been a very dreary, wet, cold and grey day here today. Far too wet and cold to do anything in the garden. I wish it would begin to warm up a bit.

Church was lovely today for Mothering Sunday, and, like you @Busy-Lizzie, we came away from the service with flowers (and home made simnel cake). In our case, the flowers were daffodils. They really brighten up the room with their cheery bright yellow colour.

I wish everyone an enjoyable evening.

    Hello everyone .
Debs we have had conversations with nurses at dressings clinic and they agreed with my assessment. But a manager nurse came to see OH and decided that OH would try new kind of stockings even though I explained the situation to him .To be honest the new stockings didn’t look much different to the ones OH tried before .This will not happen again I will see to that .
Hazel I have changed OH dressings .There could be a very small amount of healing . Tomorrow he goes to see a nurse at a clinic near us .Its only a three minute walk so ihope he can make it .
He has borrowed some crutches to take the pressure of his feet which are very painful .
Thank you for your concern everyone .

Rubee, does OH have a “ walker” or wheelchair? ( could you push it?). Or an electric scooter? I remember when my dad started with mobility issues he got himself an electric scooter and there was no stopping him. Then mum got one but she didn’t use it very often. Hope he can manage to get to the clinic tomorrow. All the best with the nurse.
Im signing off for today ,night all.
