Oh dear, Rubee, your poor husband. It all sounds so painful and it can't be easy for you either, seeing him suffer and having to do the bandaging.

G has removed the old path. The crumbling bricks were just laid on earth, but the earth is only about 6" deep. There is a hard surface below and under the lawn. Must once have been a driveway. No wonder most of the lawn died in the drought of 2022.

I've been chatting to the nice neighbours next door. No wonder I haven't heard the cockerel recently, he died. He was a few years old.

Hello all. Debs, what a dreadful situation to be in - where are the senior management in all of this? They should be supporting you and ensuring that abusive customers are asked to tone down their dealings with staff, or leave the premises. Any non compliance and the police should be called. I, like Hazel, wonder if you have posters in your pharmacy asking customers to be tolerant - after all you are trying desperately to look after these people.
Ruby, what a dreadful situation for your OH to be in. What the heck is going on? I think that the NHS is on the brink of collapse. When I picked up my prescription on Wednesday I didn't open it until I got home and when I did I found two packets of a medicine I have never taken before with no explanation whatsoever. I have written (because I cannot get through to speak to a Doctor) asking what is going on? Words fail me! As Hazel said, we know our own bodies and when something is very wrong with advice you have been given then it is incumbent on a Doctor to at least listen to his/her patient and work with them appropriately - assuming you can actually speak to a Doctor.
Oh Busy RIP the cockerel. Your posts about his irritating habits used to bring a smile to my face. It sounds as though G will have a good, sound base to work on when he lays your new path.

Spent a little time outside today but not too long as so cold. Unmentionables completed inside and now relaxing doing some knitting. Will sign off for today, have a nice evening everyone.ย

I am signing out too for today. Hazel, I agree with it being cold outside - every time Cricket comes in his coat feels as if he's been in a fridge! I baked this morning but I have been riveted to the Six Nations Rugby. I was delighted to see England beat Ireland in the dying seconds of their match with a drop goal. Shades of Jonny Wilkinson in 2003 when we won the World Cup.
I hope you have all had good days and enjoy your evenings. See you all tomorrow.

    Good morning all.

Lovely start of the day, after so much rain and wind yesterday. I arrived home quite late, so today I'll do just easy jobs. Peppers are waiting to prick them up, and I bought few plants in GC which need to be plant ASAP. Tea first.

Wish you all a lovely Sunday!

Good morning Ante and all arriving later.ย
Did your Mum and Aunt have a nice day yesterday - hope that the weather wasn't a spoiler for their trip? I see you have your Sunday all planned out. Did you get any interesting plants at the GC? Have a lovely day!

    Good morning LB.

Apparently they had a great day, despite rain. First they visited an old Carthusian monastery, and then two castles, vineyard where lunch was served, and smallholding with dairy products. Fulfilled day. This is a region shared by Croatia and Slovenia, and in old empire days, nobility built there small but fairytale castles, something like Neuschwanstein in Bavaria.

Of course, more important are my plants. I bought five daisies, only 80p each, red canna plant, and more seeds. Who needs trips when you have almost whole day in GC. ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Ante, you are absolutely right. I think I could move into my favourite GC and live there. You got some bargains there Ante and I love the sound of your Mum's and Aunt's trip. I would find that delightful. I looked up Neuschwanstein Castle - gorgeous! It gave me an idea of what must have been seen on the trip. Apparently this castle was used by Disney as the real life inspiration for the castle in the film Cinderella.
p.s. now it is lighter outside I can see that it has been raining! Boo!
