    Good afternoon,
It was a beautiful bright start here this morning, with a touch of frost. It’s still chilly, but clouding over a bit now.
Just got back from a fund raising event at the local community centre. OH & I were manning the raffle. I think we will have raised a decent sum going to a purely voluntary organisation who take people to their chemo/radio therapy appointments. Any fundraising for them is always gratefully received.

Good luck with the job searching @debs64. I hope you find something suitable very soon.

Hope you soon feel better @Ante1. Dose yourself up this weekend and stay in the warm.

Must empty Lilys TV, I put cloth thingies in before we went out.

We went to Oxburgh Hall today, a moated Nat Trust house. It has an interesting history but the gardens aren't as lovely as some of the bigger stately homes in Norfolk. They have a lot of snowdrops but they are nearly over and the daffodils are coming out. I've posted some photos on the gardens to visit thread.

On the way home we stopped at Diddlington plant nursery. The plants are very good value. Their perennials were all laid out but I'm a bit short of space. I did buy some Tête à Tête daffodils, another tray of pink violas and some pretty little light blue and white stripey primroses. I planted them this afternoon, also the 3 lupins I bought recently and the Sweet Siluetta rose that I was given at the Peter Beales rose workshop day.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Evening all. Well the rugby result was disappointing for me. 3 of England's mistakes led to 3 of Scotland's tries - better luck next year!
@Red maple, what an incredible, worthwhile organisation to raise money for. Well done to all.
@Busy-Lizzie, you sound to have had an interesting day with some lovely plant 'buys'. My snowdrops are just about over now as well but I'm looking forward to my fritillaries and daffodils still to come.
I am signing out for this evening. See everyone tomorrow.

    Good morning all.

It seems that some of you sent me a rain, wind and cold weather. 😁 Just kidding, but weather reminds us that it's still winter. All pets are fed, bird feeders refiled, bread is in the oven, and I can have my cup of tea.
I had a problem to log in on the forum yesterday, and this morning was also slow with few issues. Hope it's only my case.

Wish you all nice and warm Sunday.

A very good morning Ante. I had some trouble in the week and kept getting the 504 Gateway Timeout error message - often when there is heavy internet demand.
May I wish Busy's OH a very happy birthday today. I am sure he will be getting a little spoilt on his special day.

Hoping to get some gardening done today. I ordered some Cowslips and Oxlips yesterday to add to the front garden - at least its not underwater like half of the back garden.

Good morning LB. Hope you will have some time in the garden. It's not very attempting here to go out at the moment. Cowslips are one of my favorite plants.

Good morning all. Misty here today but hoping it will clear to a dry day. Got to pick up 10 bags of horse manure later but I hurt my back moving pots yesterday didn’t think how heavy all the recent rain would make them, so fiancé will have to do most of the lifting saves him a trip to the gym!
Going to try making marmalade later.
Hope you all have a good Sunday planned.

Morning all. Sunny here but just been out to feed the birds and it’s freezing ,  brrrrrr!
Imordered some brushed cotton bedding yesterday, in the sale at Du**l* so will pick that up today and then OH wants to go to the famous DIY store. Then a stack of material needs the attention of the flat got metal thing later…..but we’ll see😉🙂
Anyone going outside to garden, if it’s as cold as here, wrap up extremely well or you’ll end up with a cold.
Debs, sorry to read you’ve hurt your back, easily done and when least expected. Let fiancée do the heavy manure lifting today.
I have a very early telephone appointment with someone in the GP Surgery  in the morning so that’s another early morning for me. I don’t do early mornings anymore so have to get my alarm clock on😬
Cant believe February is on its way out…..l
