Good morning LB and all to follow. Yesterday was difficult we are definitely going to lose staff which will mean more pressure on those who remain and a much worse service for customers I am afraid I got a little tearful in the meeting because my job is important to me and I don’t want to do it badly. I will definitely be looking for another job as will many of my colleagues it doesn’t look good. Very sad but I can do this. Thanks so much for all your messages of support you really are a lovely lot.

    Good morning Debs
A big warm hug to say take care hugs friend teddy bear good
I do hope that this shake up of staff is not going to take place immediately and you can have a little breathing space. It will also give you the chance to see what else in the way of work is available for you. If, fingers crossed, you were not one of the people to lose their job, would you be happy with the added work load or have you definitely made up your mind to go?

@Ladybird4 I think many of the staff will leave so I could probably keep my job but I am afraid I couldn’t cope with the additional stress and I won’t be happy knowing the customers are getting a really bad service, our customers are often older and always unwell and they need extra help that we won’t be able to give which will be heartbreaking. Everyone I work with goes the extra mile to support people struggling with terrible situations and that will no longer be possible. I can’t do it. I will miss my colleagues and a lot of the customers but it’s time to go. I am looking for something else and I hope I can find it soon.
On a brighter note the sun is shining and I have been in contact with the lady I got horse manure from last year, hoping to get more.
Planning a happy day in the garden.

Morning all from the frosty North East brrrr
White everywhere outside so glad I'm not going out today. Staying warm indoors.

Ante, thank you for the birthday  wishes and lovely flowers, beautiful colour. I’m sorry to read you’re coming down with a cold, you may be run down with all the work you’ve done/are doing. Maybe time to slow down abit? We can sometimes overdo things and then the body objects. Take care and look after yourself.

Debs, that’s really discouraging to hear re work. I really cannot understand why chemists are being hit like this. We all need a chemist, duties are increasing, so why decrease staffing levels. Why shut down  chemists? It is going to be hard work ,literally and metaphorically, for those of you who are remain. I can quite understand that you would be upset. There is a good Jobs site on-line. …Indeed **….. which you   can tailor for your area and the type of jobs that interests you. ( ** this is not advertising and I am in no way involved with this company).

    Good morning all.

Debs, I'm so sorry to read about everything you must cope at work. I really hope you will find something more suitable for you.

It's lovely morning outside, despite rough night with rain and high wind. I'm a bit better, but still tired. A day inside with book and tv will be more than needed. Sorry to read that some of you have frost.

I have been outside doing some work in the garden - under the watchful eye of Cricket who thinks this is a great game! It is bitterly cold and the frost has only just disappeared off my neighbour's cars but the sun is shining and that is very cheery to see. I put Lily's TV on earlier but I'm taking time out to hug a mug whilst the programme is finishing.
Ante, you look after yourself and get completely better as you have a busy time ahead of you.

Afties all. Watching 30 men chase an egg around a field. I had to quickly gather in the cloth things - almost dry - when a big black cloud came over. Then there was a fall of hail. Not enough to describe it as a hail storm but enough that it was pinging all around the garden. I'm glad I got that job done.
