    Morning all.

It's sunny here and there is some blue sky at the moment.

We had booked our favourite pub restaurant to take our friends to for lunch today. We've cancelled our absent friends but we are still going. I hope the roads are free of flooding today.

Morning all and thanks for the birthday wishes. Slept well last night ( sorry LB) but no doubt will be back to normal sleep pattern tonight.
Was very cold when we got up but the sun is out now so hopefully it will warm up during the day. Have to pop to a docs this morning and the bank and then I haven a hair appointment this afternoon. Seems to have been a hectic week so far. Must try and relax at the weekend.
Debs, good luck when seeing the Area Manager and let’s hope he can answer some of your questions. Press him/hard.Β
Must get on as plenty to do. Have a good day everyone.Β

Finally, all jobs completed and I can now relax. I plan to have a job free weekend and with a bit of luck may even potter in the garden /greenhouse.
I am going to sign off early today so hope you all have a good evening. Keep warm.

We had a delicious lunch as usual.Β

The river Waveney and some of the small rivers on the way had overflowed. Some of the fields looked like lakes but the roads were passable.

Hazel, i think you deserve to have a pottering sort of weekend after your busy birthday week.
Glad that you enjoyed your lunch Busy - but then you are never disappointed with your favourite pub are you?
I am cautiously optimistic it may be dry enough to garden tomorrow as there was a glimpse of sunshine this afternoon but it is not warm.
I dodged the rain and nipped across to Jack's with some copies of the proposed development behind me which I had printed for him. The entrance to this is directly opposite his bungalow. He likes to be kept 'in the loop' so he will be poring over that at length. I also took him a cutting from my Sarcococca.
I hope Ante is looking forward to the weekend and that the interesting colours of his finger are starting to fade.

    Good evening all.

LB, my finger still has beautiful dark green colour. At least it doesn't pain.

This week is certainly not my best. After everything what happen I now have sore throat and runny nose. As LB said, it will be weekend just for rest. It's raining since last night, so it's another reason to stay in. Hope you are all well.Β  Β Β

Your second post of today wasn't there when I posted mine Ante. Sorry to hear you have a lousy cold to deal with now. Feet up tonight, TV and Earl Grey!
