Hello all. Well done Busy and team for your quiz win last night. It has been pretty dreadful here today and driving to my Bestie's was a nightmare of flooded roads and ever worsening potholes. It seems like we have all been blighted by the wet conditions. I am sure you will get another chance to go to Oxburgh Hall before the snowdrops have all disappeared.
T'Bird, I am glad that you have managed to fix up another hair appointment. I can understand your relief at not having to venture forth later today though.
Hazel, I do make a note of Rezzers' birthdays when and if I find out when they are, so that I can wish them a happy day.
We had a really busy time at the Food Bank today - it was 3 hours of non-stop weighing in and dating items and then packing up food requests. There were mountains of items waiting for us that couldn't even fit into all the cupboards but when we left more than half the cupboards were empty. One of the leaders brought a man in to meet us who was very interested in how everything worked but she failed to actually introduce him. We gave him all the information as to how we all worked together. When the leader took him out of our room we were all asking who he was. I went out and introduced myself to him and asked him who he was. Turns out he is a big name at the local football club and he wants to raise the profile of the Food Bank with the fans. Such a nice man. I then had to report what I had found out about him back to the others.

@Songbird-2 happy belated birthday hope you had a lovely day.
Work really stressful at the moment all the talk is of the changes. Our relief pharmacist yesterday has been working in a shop where the new system has been rolled out she says it isn’t working well at all and new staff have been called in to help. Not sure what the company is thinking? Our Area manager is calling in today to discuss our concerns.
I am trying to think positive and plan for a new job fingers crossed I can find something suitable.
Heavy rain here yesterday but looks like a dry weekend so I plan more garden time and I am going to make marmalade.
