    Oh my goodness, just spotted your post as I was signing out @rowlandscastle444!!! It looks rather as though someone was reversing at top speed from the drive and the poor car shot up the tree or doesn't everyone park like that??ย  I too hope that noone was badly injured. Please let us know once you have any news about it.

  • Always better to be safe than sorry @rowlandscastle444. I ( once )smelt gas in our old house when in the garage at one time ( metre was in garage). Called gas people who came straight out and found the pipe adjoining the metre box was loose and gas was escaping! Yikes, close shave.๐Ÿ˜ฌ
    How on earth did that car end up in the tree?? Hope no one was hurt?ย
    Apparently, the car mounted the kerb on the opposite side of the road, hit a lamppost, crossed the road, and got jammed against a brick wall, forcing the rear of the car up the tree.
    It must have been travelling at speed to accomplish this, but it seems no-one was hurt. The road has been busier than usual, due to the nearby main road being dug up for (wait for it), gas main repairs. ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿคฏ

    On that note, glad to hear you got your gas leak sorted. We had one in our first house, which I didn't notice, and my wife picked up on. Gasman said it was so small, that it hardly showed up on his equipment. But it was there nonetheless. Hence me trusting my wife.

    Goodness @rowlandscastle444, that chap /woman driving has had such a lucky escape. It could have been such a nasty accident. Good that your OH has a keen sense of smell.๐Ÿ™‚

    Good heavens @rowlandscastle444, that's dramatic! Amazing that no one was hurt.

    I've just been to a garden club meeting. There was a talk about gardening, especially a vegetable garden, at a Friary.

    Rowlandcastle444. So sorry to read that you are having difficulty getting the right tablets for you .
    It must be quite concerning ย .My OH has weekly blackouts which are not controlled .He has had (like you)bumps on the head many times .Also fractured ribs damaged knees and many more injuries which I guess you will recognise .My OH hasnโ€™t got epilepsy. His condition is very obscure and took decades for medics to recognise .I do hope you get the medication that you need soon .
    Best wishes to you .

    @Rubee
    I'm sorry, I missed your post.ย
    I'm sorry your OH has blackouts so often. It's always a worry as to when it Will happen. And where. My wife tells me that others often forget what the carer has to go through, and think only about the sufferer.ย
    I have daily seizures, but not always blackouts - which helps.ย
    I'm aware that however rough I'm feeling, there's always someone (or lots of someones) worse off than me. It doesn't stop the pain, but it gives me something else to concentrate my mind on.

    Good morning everyone. Good grief @rowlandscastle444, I have never seen anything quite as dramatic as those car pictures for some time. As you say, the driver must have been going at a tremendous speed to end up like that.
    The talk at the Gardening Club must have been interesting Busy. I think that growing vegetables to feed the religious community - including the medicinal herbs - must have been a real labour of love.

    @rowlandscastle444, your post in response to Ruby's wasn't there when I first did mine. Sorry to hear what you are having to deal with - it does sound dire. I hope in some small way, nattering to us will also provide a diversion for you and never worry about 'offloading' to us when needed.
