    Thank you all.

Rowlan, I love early mornings at weekend, especially Sunday. It's always so calm and peaceful.

Hazel, hope you will have some rest during day.

I'm finished with some unmentionables, and now is time to go out in the garden. It's turn to sow tomatoes.

Morning everyone, hope you're all well.
    Raining here too!
Beautiful photo @Ante1 looks so calming and peaceful. Wouldn't mind sitting on your balcony looking at that all day. I went to a garden centre yesterday with a friend and we couldn't believe the prices of the plants. So many were over £20!! I saw a lovely plant, can't remember it's name and certainly couldn't pronounce it🤣 but it stayed there as it was £65.
@rowlandscastle444 I agree too about the weather forecasts, we hear more about the weather conditions in other areas than here in the South....I live in West Sussex. It seems its all topsy-turvy, perhaps they think we're more interested in other areas 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Any body been watching After the flood or too good to be true?
Have a good day everyone, take care.

Good morning everyone . Had a bit of a down day yesterday . Everything was getting on top of me .This morning I have managed an hour in the garden in between showers . Gardening is a very good medicine .I have decided that a few large poppies will make things even better .I am going to research some while I have my lunch . keep warm and dry folks .

Afties all. Rubee, sorry to hear you’ve been feeling a bit down lately. At this time of year things tend to  feel worse in the long dark days and nights so just hope the milder warmer weather gets here soon.  I hope you feel a little better soon.

Weve had such a busy morning and were just settling down for some dinner when we had a surprise visit from son and 23🙂 Needless to say, they were both starving……..🙄 Since then some unmentionables that have been left for a while have had to be done. ( no wonder my blood pressure is high…and still is🥲).

I’ve opened some windows  today as it feels so warm inside today. Unless it’s a continuous hot flush😂

Ante, blimey, is it time for tomato sowing now, this year seems to be flying by already.

Biglad, SGL, at one of our local garden centres the prices are terribly high now, but Biglad example beats the lot! Atrocious. Mind,SGL,, I don’t think I’d pay  £65 for a plant either😬
LB, glad you rescued your forgotten bunch of snowdrops🙂 They’ll  be fine.

SGL, I started to watch After the Flood but not to my taste really. Plus, with all the rain,(LB??) it was hard to hear what they were saying sometimes. Is Too Good to be True that new drama with Kara  Tointon in it? If that’s the one, it’s another programme I tried to watch but couldn’t get away with it. I do wish we could have some decent entertainment and /or entertaining dramas on the TV……..… with happy endings! Like Downton Abbey.

@Rubee so sorry to read you are feeling low at the moment. Hope things improve for you. Take care of yourself too as well as OH. Sending hugs.
@Songbird-2 yes it is the one with Kara Tointon.  Both had endings that were left for possibly another series.
I've just finished watching the whole series of Downton Abbey repeats. Really enjoyed it, even though I've seen them before. Read the other day they are filming another series for TV. Looking forward to seeing that!
There's not much on at the moment is there, so will search later for anything else being repeated.

    Good afternoon all.
SGL, I havent watched either of those two programmes. The trailers for 'Too Good To Be True' freaked me out so I didn't even start to watch that. I have heard that 'After The Flood' is good but having read Hazel's view maybe I won't bother with that one either! I've got too many other happier things recorded that I need to catch up on.
@Biglad, I expect that someone with more money than sense would buy that plant. It is not a very visually attractive plant either.
Ruby, I am sorry to read that you had a 'down' day yesterday. Hope that you find some lovely oriental poppies. Mine are just starting to show in the garden - surrounded by a gazillion celandines! I am glad that they all disappear by Summer.

Hi all just back from lunch at GC I got 15 bellis daisy plants for £7.50 which is more my price range I think. A mix of colours. Not tried them before but they look pretty. Also got a tray of dianthus for £1. No flowers but 12 healthy plants so will nurture those for the summer.
