Morning @Ladybird4 and @Ante1 and all to follow.
Sorry you didn't sleep well last night LB have a restful day.
@Ante1 such beautiful healthy Primulas and lovely colours. Great price too, they are much more expensive in the GC I went to the other day.
@Busy-Lizzie I liked after the Flood too.  Will start watching the second series of Trigger Point soon.
    * Oops that posted too soon,
I enjoyed the first series it has Vicky McClure that was in Line of Duty.
Rained heavily last evening and still drizzling now.
Going for Sunday lunch with the poppets today. Hope you all have a lovely day, take care.

    A very good morning SGL.
I think you are right Ante. The primulas are such a good price that I'm sure that they will all have been bought very quickly indeed.
SGL - no spoilers but I am really enjoying Trigger Point. Do have a lovely time with the Poppets. I bet that they will bring a smile to your face - as 23 must have done with Hazel after her surprise visit.
By the way - I am going to a GC this morning with two friends. Just for tea and a toasted teacake you understand! Hmmmm I wonder?

@Ladybird4 I enjoyed the first series and by the looks of the trailers of this one it looks very good. Enjoy your day at GC with your friends, nice there's cake of some kind evolved 😉😋  I wonder if any plants come home with you, hopefully not as expensive as the ones @Biglad and I saw 😱
@Rubee hope you're feeling better today and you slept better too. I love poppies, so pretty and delicate. Take care Rubee, hope OH and Rosie are ok too. Sending best wishes.

Morning all. Have been trying to do at least an hour in the garden most days but I'm not convinced that will be possible today. Have never seen the field behind us looking quite as wet as it does at the moment. Huge puddles everywhere.

LB - have you mentioned the increased waterlogging of your garden in your official objection to the new homes being built behind you? That's the sort of thing planners listen to and environmental officers want to hear about.

Rubee - sorry to hear you're feeling low. Not surprising with everything you've been through recently. Don't think the time of year helps either. Look after yourself and OH and please give my best wishes to Rosie BB.

BL - enjoy Peter Beales tomorrow. I did that lunch and lecture several years ago with the garden club. The chap also explained how they breed new rose varieties. He asked who had DA roses and then went on to be quite disparaging about them. Thought that was very unprofessional and unnecessary but the rest of the talk was interesting. He also introduced me to ARS snips which probably remain the best value and most used tool in my gardening trug. Have bought several pairs as presents too.

In the absence of gardening think I'll start working my way through a very long list of jobs....

Good morning all. It has finally stopped raining here so I am planning to try to get my garden centre bargains planted up. Should be a splash of colour in the front garden at least, it’s all pots on paving out there so I won’t get too muddy I hope.
@Ante1 I love primulas in the springtime. I prefer them in pots though as slugs seem to like them.

    Morning all.
LB, sorry to read you slept badly last night, I watched the clock go round. gawd…It mus be to do with older age.
Did I mention that 23 was attacked at school this last week? Collared in the toilets, thrown against the wall and punched in the stomach. The attacker then went on to attack another child. All hell has broken out  from family and the school.Poor bairn experiencing that behaviour as such a young age. We were aghast but 23 seems to be okay. The other child not so lucky. Thank goodness it’s now half term.

LB, enjoy your visit to a garden centre this morning. Tea and cake only!? My eye…..😂
Busy, hope you find tomorrows adventure interesting and informative. Something different for you.
Rubee, me too. Can’t wait for all the plants to start flowering and looking colourful. I noticed our new clematis , bought last year called Destiny,  is growing away madly at the moment. She’s doing really well.

Dear Hazel, I'm so sorry to read about attack on 23. Hope he will be well. Believe me, there is just a little bit of joy left for work in the school for me. It all became very very exhausting.
