Yes, LB, it was water. We couldn't go to the end of the garden, too sloshy.

I think the decision will be based more on technical skills and extra training done. There are 8 of us and we need to lose at least 3, maybe 4 staff members so it’s a tricky one. I feel very shaken up and unsure of the future it’s not a good feeling.

Morning all. Did get some sleep later this morning but am tired out. Got up early for electrician who is coming again  tomorrow morning ( another early start) to put a normal in/off switch outside bathroom.

@debs64, oh my goodness, how awful for you. I’m so sorry to hear to hear your news. You will be feeling very unsettled now until everyone knows what’s what. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. It does beg the question though why things are always changing these days and for you and other chemists, you would think they would be needing more staff given the extra duties that are going to be put onto chemists just now. Try and stay positive- I know that’s easy to say but take it a day at a time.

LB glad you slept better - it will be after all that nice food you had. Is Cricket settling in well now? Getting to know where things are etc?
Ante, ouch ouch😢😱 poor you. Bet your finger will be double the normal size now. Please be careful with it but glad it’s not broken. Be sore for a while though.

Hello Hazel. Hope that the installation of a new switch doesn't mean it will need you to decorate again! Cricket is completely settled, loves his freedom in and out of the cat flap yet still cuddles up next to me when he fancies a rest.

LB, Yup, the new switch may very well end up with a need to redecorate. It’s just the shove we needed to get us going though as we keep putting it off. We will paint the whole landing stairs and hallway if needs be plus the ceiling. It will be a good job done.
That picture of Cricket is lovely.😊
