No - I wouldn't buy it if I had that kind of money and lack of sense @Ladybird4 Not very appealing. They had 3 specimens when I last went. I'm going to keep tabs on if they shift any.
I think my 2 apple trees were my most expensive purchases. I'd be too precious with expensive plants - constantly in fear of their demise!
Debs, I think you have got some real plant bargains there. The dianthus will reward you for some TLC.
@Biglad, that would be my constant concern i.e. a really expensive plant turning up its roots if the weather went crazy. I do that with inexpensive plants now!

I've finished the long border and done the front garden. Just have the shady border left to do and a few plants to plant. I got rained off this morning but it was dry after lunch.

Meant to add that I'm going on a Peter Beales Classic Roses day workshop on Monday, lunch included. Never done that sort of thing before, looking forward to it. It will be mostly about pruning different sorts of roses. I tend to be on the timid side when pruning.

Warm but windy morning. I tought I'll sleep better after whole afternoon in the garden, but wasn't a case. Cats were very restless almost whole night, but they are sleeping now. I have my tea, oregano rolls are in the oven, and they will be for lunch. One colleague from school will pop around today afternoon. She needs help with some online shopping. Old school person which doesn't trust to our new tech.
Good morning Ante and all to arrive later. I had an awful night last night - just couldn't get to sleep. I think last night's Peanuts picture got to me. Ante those primulas are so pretty and such a good price too - just think how many of those you could buy instead of one of those big plants spotted by Biglad.
