    Morning all.

Enjoy your morning with your friend @star gaze lily.

It was windy and tipping with rain last night. No wind now and no rain either.

I sometimes wish I could knit. I was never very good at it but now my fingers are too arthritic. I can't sew easily either now though I used to enjoy it. I made smocked dresses for my daughters and cuddly toys and a kneeler for the church.

I didn't sleep well. OH said I hit him but I don't remember. I had a hot flush and couldn't get comfy.

I think it will be a quiet day today.

Busy, sorry to hear of your disturbed night, I can totally sympathise with your hot flushes. They’re a nightmare aren’t they? Take it steady away today.

    That's pretty Hazel.
Too many squirrels here for crocuses.

These crocuses are in a cold frame on top of a potting table Busy. I have another pot sitting on top of small outside table, nothing from them yet.
Im well stocked up with wool now after popping into town. It’s very cold, only 5 degrees but the sun is out and from inside, it looks like a lovely day🙂

Afties all. Hazel, Jack's daughter lives on the same side of the lane as her Dad and about 100 metres away so I just have the keys to let myself in when needed. Looking after the cats is not a burden. Those crocuses are so pretty! Thank you for sharing. Like Busy, my crocuses get stolen by the squirrels.
I decided that whilst it was such a nice 'Spring-like' day today I would release the beast! Cricket has spent the last hour going in and out of the cat flap as I turned the lock off. It is always a bit of a heart in the mouth moment but he seems to be very happy exploring the garden. He has learned the rustle of his treat bag as I shake it and comes running for the little biscuits. I feel happier now as he was itching to get outside.

Great news about Cricket LB, what a relief that he came back in at the sound of treats. Must have been a nerve wracking moment for you when he first went outside. He’ll have a great time exploring now and hopefully run off some his energy. Didn’t realise Jacks  daughter lived so close to you, very convenient for you. Two  more kitty cats for you to cuddle🙂

I'm glad about Cricket, he will enjoy himself outside and it's a relief for you to know he knows where his home is now.

I did some gardening and mulching this afternoon.

Busy, your garden is looking very smart and ready for Spring. Are they irises peeking through in the bottom right of your picture. You have just reminded me of Round 2 with the flags near my pond!
