Good morning Ante. You weren't there when I posted. I love the picture of the almond blossom and I bet it smells wonderful. Thank you for sharing that with us.

Good morning all. Been away celebrating my big birthday. A weekend in a Welsh farmhouse with friends and family ( all female) was so much fun. We had a spa afternoon and then cocktail making and a drag queen. Lovely Sunday lunch then fiancé came for the evening and we drove to our log cabin for a few days. Wood burning stove, hot tub and absolute peace and quiet it was perfect.
Lunch at a garden centre with my sister today and then out for Sunday lunch with two of my boys and fiancé tomorrow I am being thoroughly spoiled and really enjoying it!
Not read back but hope all are well.

Good morning Debs. I discovered that your birthday was February 7th when I had convinced myself I had forgotten it - hence this edited post! You sound to have had a magical time with more lovely celebrations to look forward to. Has your Fiancé settled into his new job now? Enjoy your GC visit and look out for those plants that just want to leap into your bag!

    Morning all.
OMGosh  Busy what a nightmare of a journey and day for you both yesterday. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that it will all have been worth it. Hope you got a good sleep last night, you’ll both have been absolutely exhausted after all that driving.
Ante, we have 23 coming today,,oops, sorry😉 I'll send Al down the tunnels in my place, will he do?😂
We have thick fog/mist this morning. It’s more like November weather.

    Morning all.

That sounds a perfect birthday celebration @debs64.

We slept well after the horrid day yesterday.

I am going to the hairdresser this afternoon then we have been invited to friends for dinner tonight.

Wonderful celebratory memories Debs, you sound to be having a whale of a time. Enjoy.
Busy, glad you slept well after yesterday, that will hopefully see you through today now. Enjoy your meal with friends, it’s nice not to have to cook occasionally.

Good morning from a brighter South Yorkshire than of late. Still very chilly and damp though.

@debs64, it sounds as if you had a lovely time away for your birthday and still have more treats to come. Enjoy 🍾💐🎂.

The almond blossom looks good @Ante1. Our flowering trees are still sleeping.

Those freesias will smell delightful when they open, @Songbird-2 - one of my favourites.

Goodness me @Busy-Lizzie, that was one nightmare trip yesterday. I hope you have a quieter, less fraught day today.

I hope that everyone has a good Saturday
