Evening everyone. Blimmin’ freezing here. I have put covers on my car windows as out early tomorrow to take Dad for appointment. They sent him a letter with his echocardiogram results etc on already. I’m all for informing patients but surely most people will either not understand the terminology or it would just worry them if they ‘google’ it?

Take care all those with pains, worries or weather woes. Enjoy yourself all those with outings, holidays or socialising planned. If neither apply…be good and go easy!

Ooh, I’m jealous, @D0rdogne_Damsel! Love the Musee D’Orsay, and my best friend from college lives north of Alicante. You are having a very well deserved social life at the moment!
I wouldn’t bother starting a thread just for lonely singletons, just keep posting on here! You’ll be able to exchange experiences with any others in the forum anyway, but you’ll also benefit from the wisdom of those on here who have been where you are now, and have come through it!
It has snowed lightly here, very pretty in the street lights. A cold night, but I’m happily glowing after finishing up the end of the mulled wine. Hope it doesn’t give me indigestion and keep me awake.
    Keep safe and warm, everyone.

Morning everyone. I’ve just finished reading all your doings. It took me a fair while, but lovely to read all that has been happening in your lives.

Well, it seems that our rain predictions were a bit off. Victoria got it all. Lots of flooding and warnings to leave, etc. I don’t really mind missing out, but it’s annoying trying to plan our days.  Hubby has his regular GP appointment tomorrow. I’m not sure whether I’ll go into town with him or not. 🧐

Hope you all have a good night.

We have snow - well we have lots of those tiny frozen water ball things spread quite thickly over the ground. A few degrees higher and it will snow properly. Very slippery under foot at the moment, will see what tomorrow brings.

Doesn't sound too good for Victoria @Pat E hope there is not too much damage for the poor folks living there.

Hi Punkdoc and AnnaB.   I assume you’re both asleep by now. Hope so, anyway. Yes, they are having a rough time in Victoria.  Flooding everywhere.  I think you are having it too. Crazy weather.

Thanks for that @coccinella, hopefully it is the start of a nice day for you - not jealous of course.

Sorry you seem to be having trouble sleeping @punkdoc, hopefully you managed to get back to sleep and catch a few hours, otherwise perhaps a little nap during today if not.

I managed to feel sleepy around 3pm so back to bed only to suddenly have the dreaded restless legs start. Up again, paracetamol taken and half an hour of pacing around listening to the wind whistling around outside. Back to bed again, this time successfully and managed to get another 3 hours snooze. Will be having a quick nap myself sometime today.

    Stay safe and warm folks.
