I've just passed a small patch of ground that used to be mown grass. It's covered in violets and celandine. Absolutely beautiful.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Best wishes for tomorrow @rowlandscastle444, successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
Glad you are ok @BenCotto, have they allowed you home yet?

A very small win. My driving licence was due to expire at the start of April so it would have been £10 to renew for 10 years. However I hit 70 the following month at which age you are forced to renew every 3 years but it is free. So I thought I might have to pay £10 to renew for just a few weeks. I got a "coming up to 70" renewal letter last week so renewed online and my new licence came today. It is valid from the application date to my birthday 3 years hence. I guess there will be some unfortunate souls who don't get their tenner's worth out of their old licence if the time gap is too long between expiry and 70th birthday.

    Bargain, @steephill! 😁

Just been on my daily perambulation.  Extremely blustery, but some lovely clouds, all cotton woolly and backlit by the sun, against a blue-as-blue-can-be sky.  Lovely ... and especially welcome after the dismal weather yesterday and overnight. ❤️

I've had a very enjoyable shopping spree today, not something I do often.

@B3, no, I'm guessing we won't for about a week or so. Do hope the op was a success and that he'll be posting from home soon.
