  Happy New Year everyone. I’m hopefully 24 throws less rubbish my way and I’m planning on a new start with my terrace, hoping to be back amongst you all chatting and asking advice. I’m cheerful that I can look at this year as a new start, even if that is because I had too many goodbyes last year.

  Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

  This may seem odd, but l'm grateful that there's colder weather coming. Anything to get a break from all this rain.
  (Although hopefully it's not a case of be careful what you wish for !)

  Me too 🧺. Yesterday's got an "extra rinse", but it was only towels so no harm done.

  Absolutely tipping down here 😕 ... but, from 3 am tomorrow onwards, there is no rain in the forecast for 10 days!  Can't remember when we last had consecutive dry days.
