Apparently the UK is home to a large number of giant Redwood Trees.  In fact some are doing better here than in their native California,  due to climate change.  Mind you most of ours are mere youngsters at 200-300 years old. The oldest known ones in USA are approximately 2000!

We have had these trees since Victorian times  when the seed was brought over by plant hunters. I have seen a fabulous avenue of them in a Scottish garden.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

I think we'll be alright on the GC site once we get used to it
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I think so too @B3 , it's a little "busy" with a few quirks but looks like fun!

I'm just grateful that we had somewhere so welcoming to go to 🙂.

I agree, although one or two of their members expressed concern because they thought there were a lot of confrontational and aggressive people on GW who constantly ridiculed new members.  That's not something I've come across other then when c*ts and f*ke grass come into questions.

GC is well moderated though, and any unpleasantness will not be tolerated, thankfully.

I did see a comment on GC that arguing isn't allowed (words to that effect) but discussion is.  It can be difficult at times to draw a line between the two.
