Managed 15 minute walk having recently had 2nd. hip replacement.

Getting mobility back is wonderful isn't it @punkdoc.  I've only needed one replacement but the difference it has made is amazing.

Yes, @KT53, a truly transformative operation, such a shame that some people have to wait so long for it. I am so grateful ( but do feel very guilty )that I was able to queue jump.
How can you lie there and think of England

It's fine and sunny here too, with a light breeze. Not very warm though. The washing is on the line but sadly no gardening because I'm working (at home so I can have a quick wander around outside when I have my cuppa).
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

I waited exactly 12 months from the date of seeing the consultant.  That was at a time when the consultant said it would be at least 18 months, so the NHS has been working hard to clear backlogs.  I was also fortunate that my GP got me on the list before I was in total agony, so my wait wasn't a great issue for me.

Does anybody else get a great sense of satisfaction when they are the 5th person to put a spam flag on a post and it disappears before your eyes?  Or is it just me? :D

    Not just you @KT53 😀

If you listen to Claudia on R2 on Saturday mornings you’ll understand the concept of “a little win”. 👍

Me too!  Watching it fold upwards and disappear makes me think "Ha! Gotcha!". 😁  Doing 2 or 3 in a row is most gratifying.
