Yes, @KT53, a truly transformative operation, such a shame that some people have to wait so long for it. I am so grateful ( but do feel very guilty )that I was able to queue jump.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Having been in constant pain before my hip surgery, I don't think anyone would refuse to option to queue jump. You've given your career to 'making folk better ' yoU deserve it.
It's fine and sunny here too, with a light breeze. Not very warm though. The washing is on the line but sadly no gardening because I'm working (at home so I can have a quick wander around outside when I have my cuppa).

I waited exactly 12 months from the date of seeing the consultant. That was at a time when the consultant said it would be at least 18 months, so the NHS has been working hard to clear backlogs. I was also fortunate that my GP got me on the list before I was in total agony, so my wait wasn't a great issue for me.
Does anybody else get a great sense of satisfaction when they are the 5th person to put a spam flag on a post and it disappears before your eyes? Or is it just me?

Getting mobility back is wonderful isn't it @punkdoc. I've only needed one replacement but the difference it has made is amazing.

If you listen to Claudia on R2 on Saturday mornings you’ll understand the concept of “a little win”. 👍
