Good morning SGL and @Bluejayway. She wasn't in pain SGL, just very old and tired and ready to go. She was a darling and I will miss her very much.

    Good afternoon,

So sorry to hear about Lily @Ladybird4, but how lovely to have that beautiful picture to remind you of her. She was a beautiful cat πŸ’.

Went and bought a new tv this morning. What a palaver it is these days, but anyway it’s supposed to be coming at the end of the week and set up by the delivery team🀞. The only thing they won’t do is take away the old one, only move it to somewhere else in the house or garage for us to dispose of at the tip ourselves. We will have to ask for help, as it’s heavy and OH hand is still healing and I’m not strong enough to handle it myself. Hey ho, I’m sure it will be sorted somehow.

We had a lovely day out yesterday on the North Yorks Moors dining steam train. A special treat to ourselves for Christmas, and very nice it was, too.

Panto tomorrow, and then that’s it for treats 😁.

Afternoon Red maple. Thank you for your lovely comments. Bit of a pain about the old TV removal. At least if you get it 'parked' in the garage it won't be in your way in the house. I am very jealous of your day on the steam train - I love them! Super treats before Christmas, and as you mentioned earlier the inner child in both of you will be entranced tomorrow at the panto.

@star gaze lily, Hazel and 23 have been to their pantomime and we went to see The Sleeping Beauty on Tuesday. It was great fun. I hope you and @Red maple enjoy your pantomimes.

I'm going back to France tomorrow to celebrate Christmas with my families. OH will be going to his daughter in Eastbourne for Christmas and to his niece for new year. Then he will fly to France on 7th January.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

@star gaze lily, you'll have a great time at the Panto with the Poppets. Hope they enjoy it as much as 23 did. You can lose yourself for a couple of hours or more, in the Land Β of Make Believe, fabulous.Β
OH and I have actually managed to spend a couple of hours in the garden today. I turned some compost into the new little veggie plot whilst OH did some light pruning and tidying up around the Β borders.
Spoke to mum who seems to be happy enough.
Red Maple, glad you've Β sorted out a new TV, getting rid of old is a bit of a chew and your OH will be taking care of his hand and therefore be put of action still. At least the delivery men can store it away for you.
LB, you've been in my thoughts today.
