Definitely @Ladybird4, but a break in the rain for a couple of hours would be nice ;)

Good morning LB, Biglad and all to follow.

LB, I'm looking forward to see Frosty and Rudolph. 😁 I'm on the half way with my lights, but it's raining today, so it will wait.

Last two days were very pleasant and sunny, so I started with Christmas lights and digging one part of my front garden. I'm going to make small patio, just for one table and two chairs. It's under vine tree and most of the plants doesn't like thick shade and rather poor soil, so it's perfect place to seat at summer time.Β Β
It's time for cup of tea, pets are, of course, already fed, and we all wait rain to stop.Β

Good morning all another hectic week over. Popping to local shopping centre for some Christmas shopping today. Pouring down here too @Ladybird4 so I expect we will both get wet today but the inflatables sound fun!Β
@Ante1 you can never have too many places to sit down in your garden to admire the view.Β

    Good morning all,Β

very soggy indeed here this morning, so likely to be indoor tasks today, including putting up the rest of the decorations. We’ve still got the outside lights to do, but it snowed last Sunday when OH had planned to do them and at the moment he still has his bandage on and stitches in his hand, so they’ll have to wait another week or so.

The patio under the tree sounds ideal @Ante1. You’ll have to show us all when it is complete.

Enjoy the panto @Songbird-2. It’s hard to believe it has come round already 😁. We go a week tomorrow. No children to take with us, just embracing our inner child πŸ˜‚.

Hope your journey to collect Rudolph and Frosty goes without any hiccup @Ladybird4 and you don’t get drenched 🀞.

    Morning all.

    Wet and windy outside.

Have a great time at the panto @Songbird-2. We are going next week, just the 2 of us. Wish I could take the grandchildren in France to one.

I will finish writing the local cards today as I may see some of the recipients in church tomorrow which should save some stamps.

Last night we had a Waitrose chicken and leek pie. I thought it was for 2 people as some of the other SM pies are. It looked deeper than usual and had more filling. Our helpings looked big so I told OH he didn't have to eat it all. We did eat it all and felt stuffed. I retrieved the box from the bin and in tiny print it said it was for 3 people! I like my home made one best though. When OH is on his own he buys food and puts it in the freezer.

Good afternoon all. Well I got to the village this morning and as I was early I managed to get parked and went to the shop. I was expecting figures that actually looked like the stereotypical Christmas figures I mentioned but no, they were made up of myriads of balloons and what is more they were bigger than me. I seriously doubted whether they would fit in my car! I had to carry them one at a time, in the pouring rain, to my car. They were light as a feather but extremely bulky. I had to lower the back seats but, as I haven't got to that page in the manual, I could not find out how to collapse the front seat so just had to slide it as far forwards as possible. I got some very strange looks from people as I walked through the village toting these gigantic figures. Thank goodness they were wrapped up in clear plastic bags to protect them from the rain. I will try and get some pics tomorrow at the Fayre. I did tell the guys there that I had had to trade my car in for a low loader. They thought it was hilarious.Β
Hazel, they are indoor figures. I hope that you have a super time at the panto. You are right, it seems ages since you planned this.
Ante, I love the sound of your patio - a bit of respite too from your summer heat and I'm sure that you will have some furry friends to keep you company.
Ruby, you are certainly doing well with your crocheting. I bet it won't be too long until you have it finished. Can't wait to see it!

    Good evening all.

LB, I can just imagine you on parking lot with those two huge figure. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I'm glad that all of you arrived home safely.

It's calm, but still grey and wet evening. I decided to bake Christmas biscuits for my sister. I'll send her a parcel next Monday, and freshly baked biscuits will be lovely surprise. Now is time to put my feet up and rest a bit.Β  Β  Β Β

    Evening all,

I allowed myself to be foiled by the weather - it's been wild out there and it's getting worse! Maybe tomorrow will provide a few minutes of calm. Or perhaps not ;)Β Β
