    Afternoon all.

Beautiful trees Rubee. I also like your OH books. If I remember correctly, he loves history😊.

Hazel, hope everything went well with plumber, if he arrived. Please don't be upset, I just wonder how nobody react on my autocorrect and grammar mistakes.Β

It's gorgeous day outside, sunny and warm. We had a red alert for high wind, but it's completely calm. I'm very tired, but weekend is ahead. Forgot to mention that I sowed Christmas wheat two days ago, as you know, one of my favorite tradition. I also bought christmas tree and it's beautiful nordmann fir. For the first time they have an Arizona cypress in offer, but price slightly above 100 β‚€ is little bit too much, despite it's a remarkable tree. My neighbor invite my for a drink later, so we will have a nice chat.

    Evening all,

Had some IT issues, which turned out to be affecting everybody else (in various corners of the UK), so I had another hour outside before it went dark. Shouldn't take long to finish planting the 2nd apple tree tomorrow. Garden waste bin is slowly filling with weeds as wellΒ  :)

    Evening all.
Busy, glad, you had a fantastic time last night. The whole event sounds spectacular and the main singer will have provided much interest for opera enthusiasts. Nothing beats a live performance. I do Β like a professional mezzo soprano sound. Venue setting must have been interesting from a sound/acoustic perspective.
Ante, thank you ,all good. πŸ˜‰πŸ™‚I love Β your Christmas wheat, show us some pics when it starts growing please. Always a sign of Christmas now when we hear of your wheat sowing. Hope you can get a good rest this weekend, you've been busy and deserve some relaxation time. The Nordmann tree sounds lovely.
Biglad, hope you get the 2nd tree in soon. Supposed to be somewhat milder here over the weekend.
Rubee, really like your little trees. Very pretty. We have Β moved our small tree today so we don't have a daily scrabble round the back of the telly to unplug it every night.
Plumber came early this morning and sorted all the rads out. He finished just before dinnertime. OH and I were quite cold with front door being open all morning.Β
Signing out for Β now. Night all.Β

Good morning Biglad and all arriving later. I apologise for not doing my normal sign off last night but I had had a hideous day. My darling Lily who had been my constant companion for the last 16 years had to be put to sleep. I do not need to explain to people who have had pets, the emotions these situations arouse. It is the last, kindest thing we can do for these members of our families but it hurts so much. I buried her in the garden we both love.
