Have come down and got myself a hot milk.ย
I been thinking of promoting 23 to be my secretary and he will be my new spelling checker. He knows his words and reads well. At least others wonโ€™t ย then feel the need to (continually ) point them out then to me. It does rather annoy me. ย So Iโ€™m hoping wee 23 can help stop this trend.ย

    Morning all (from the CA),

Got the work done, checked, checked by someone else and approved by "EOD", which was the inexact, final deadline. "EOD" was after 9pm on this occasion.

Today I plan to take advantage of the forecast mild, dry day!

Morning LB, Im up ready for him....pitch black outside. Objects, furniture etc have been moved away from radiators for easy access and towels ect at the ready for him to catch any spill outs from the pipes. Gawd.

Apologies if I upset you...totally unintentional. I personally like the mistakes that creep in to posts - they often add a bit of unintentional humour (well to me anyway).

When they drained down my central heating system, Hazel, they only used one radiator on the ground floor as the drain point and they attached a hose pipe to that and draped it out through the front door and down the drive. The water was filthy! It took quite a while but the job was quite clean and there were no leaks. He just had to pressurise the boiler again at the finish and all was well.

LB, thats how our old house rads got drained but most of them in this house, are all individually put in, so they each have to be lifted off the wall and drained outside. Its a right clart on. At least its a little mild outside and theres always a coat to put on!
@steveTu, Not upset. I don't ย like making mistakes particularly ย when the spellcheck plays games. Ive taken it off now. will get 23 to double ย check๐Ÿ™‚ My fault for not checking.

    Morning all.

We had a fabulous evening last night. The mezzo-soprano had a wonderful deep rich voice. There were 4 very good soloists but she stood out. She was Ukranian, Kseniia Nikolaieva. She'll be singing at the Royal Opera House early next year.

The event is over 4 days and held in a beautiful barn near a Suffolk town. The owner uses it for weddings. We all sit at big round tables and the singers sing then we have dinner, salmon, quiches, ham, salads. Then more singing then dessert, coffee and more singing. At the end there were 2 encores and then the audience sang A Partridge in a Pear Tree.

I don't know if there is anyone here who likes opera, but this is the programme.

Nearly forgot to add, we are going to our best friends here for lunch today, then to look at the lit up trees in the church's Christmas Tree Festival.

I've nipped out long enough to collect a bucketful of weeds and start the hole for the 2nd apple tree, but have been given another work task to complete today, so that could be it until tomorrow.
