Busy I am very sceptical about this 'deep clean' and just suspect it may be a way to get more money out of me.
Ante, I cannot believe the gorgeous weather shown in your pics! I am very jealous as it has just been a uniform grey here for most of the day. The sun did try to peek out at about midday then rapidly disappeared. Please can you tell us what the statue is?
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
LB, it's quite a blessing to have weather like that in December. Statue is dedicated to all casualties in WW2. It's mother with dead son in her hands. Sorry I didn't take closer photo. Few little cats were sleeping around.π
I think I can see one sleeping on the statue's base Ante. The stone will get warm with the sun and act like a storage heater! Quite an emotional statue.

Beautiful pictures Ante, what a gorgeous place for a meal. Stunning. That statue is very poignant. .Β
That sounds rather painful to me too LB, having Β a below gum line cleanπ±π¬ Never heard of that before. Enjoy quizzing tonight.Β
23 loved his cactusβ¦. And so did the rest of the family apparently π β¦ his sisters were trying to take it off him. Mum was joining in the fun- a great hit Iβm pleased to say.Β
LB - I've also never had a (below gum line) clean. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not so sure. Will do some Googling.
Our expected new arrival is MY older niece (we already have a few babies on OH's side). Β Her sister had the first of my brother's grandchildren in Maui at the beginning of October and it is her older sister who is due this week. It was M's birthday on Monday and she sent some pictures of her enjoying the festive markets in London this week. She is very petite and (no kidding) she is as deep as she is tall - ginormous bump! She must be quite uncomfortable but she has a broad grin on her face. Only stopped working at the end of last week. Got to admire her grit! Keeping fingers crossed she holds on until the 21st which is both OH's and a special cousins' birthdays.
Tell you - December is my busiest month for birthdays by a long shot!
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
If the little one makes an appearance this month, @Topbird, December events will have just gone upπ She has Β done really well to keep working this long into her pregnancy, credit to her. Everyone will be on stand by! Im signing off for now. Night all.
T'Bird, it would be lovely if the baby arrives on your OH's birthday. Can't wait to hear your news!
I'll join you in saying December is a busy birthday month. I have 6 in December as well as my own. It was one of my great nephew's birthday yesterday. He is 16 and where is he celebrating? On a school trip, skiing in Austria!
I am going to visit my Canasta friend at lunchtime but have got to do some shopping for Jack - he rang yesterday to ask if I could get a Christmas gift for his daughter. A bottle of a well known brandy. It won't take too long to get that task finished and I might just spot some interesting things I just have to have.

T'bird, I like "she is as deep as she is tall" expression. We say "it's easier to jump over her than walk around her".
My cup of tea is almost finished, and it's time to go. Wish you all a nice day and see you later. Just a glance on Christmas wheat progress.
