    Morning all (from the CA),

The wind has died down a bit but it is now tipping down.

    Good morning one and all.
Busy, your post wasn't there last night when I did mine. I hope that the hounds didn't trample anything precious in your garden. Sanglier on the menu is a favourite when we are on holiday in France.
When my brothers and sisters were small and we had our first wobbly teeth, Grandma used to say we had been 'kissing the boys/girls'. This statement was always met with strenuous denials!
What ho @Biglad. Weather similar here. I'm off to visit the husband of one of my friends who, sadly, is no longer with us. He is the one who has the orchard full of heritage apples and pears, in Little Hoole near Preston and I'm hoping for a decent run with no muck bearing farm vehicles! I am taking him a Sarcococca which I have had growing from a seed from my adult plant for several years so it is now a decent size.

Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
  • Morning everyone,
Not peeked outside yet, but it sounds windy, but hopefully no rain.
Thank you @Busy-Lizzie I did enjoy the Panto too.
@Songbird-2 there's definitely nothing like a lovely snuggle with the poppets. 😍
@Ladybird4 hope you have a better journey today when you go to see your friend.
@Biglad hope the rain eases. Did you get the apple trees planted.
Seeing a friend for a tea/coffee this morning and then this afternoon going to another friend and staying for evening meal.
I haven't put any decorations up this year, but I do have the Christmas cards up.
Have a lovely day everyone.  Hope you all have everything you need and don't have to go to any shops now.

Good morning SGL. You can have some of my rain if you like? Have a great day with your friends - both morning and evening. Its lovely having a meal with friends - especially if you don't have to do anything but enjoy the food and the good company.

    Morning all,
It’s not as wild as yesterday, but still breezy. Dry so far, but I don’t think it’s going to last.
Happy winter solstice to everyone, we can now look forward to gradually increasing daylight hours 👍🏼.
A busy morning ahead for me, but hopefully I’ll have a quieter afternoon.
To all travelling to visit friends and family, have a lovely day.

Good morning @Red maple and a happy Winter Solstice to you too. I'm hoping for a quieter afternoon too but I have promised to go and have a cuppa with Jack when I get back later.

Morning all and a happy solstice  to you all. Take care on the roads again LB today, they'll be very busy.
We are  popping over to daughter's today and then a quiet day for us. The wind has returned this morning, woke OH up again so hoping it'll  subside during the day. Don't  like wind.

Good morning everyone . Take care driving those who are going out . Lily I am so pleased that you enjoyed the panto with the little ones . I have been in several pantomime’s and it was a delight to hear the laughter of those little people .
My OH has received a new drug which he has to inject himself with .Its quite a new medication .I am hoping there are no bad side effects . There is a humongous amount of information to read .
If this new medication works he will need to inject himself once a month .If it works his head pains should diminish.

    Morning all.

I hope the new medication works for your OH @Rubee. He suffers such a lot.

It was grey and drizzly but the sun has come out.

I've spent ages this morning trying to trace my rose delivery. The Post said they'd transferred it to DPD delivery company. DPD said they would deliver it to a shop in town tomorrow. It has just arrived here! Good thing she rang the intercom on the electric gate.

I'll heel them into the veg garden and I'll put Daughter 1's into a compost bag with damp compost to take to Son 2's when we all go to lunch on the 28th.
