My iron has blown up on me😱😒 Will have to get out tomorrow and see if I can get a replacement. Me and irons and ironing boards don't seem to get on these days...
It hasn't got above freezing all day.
Lovely garden @rowlandscastle444, plenty to explore Β out there come the Spring, very exciting.Β

    Good evening everyone.

Ive had a very busy day today. It was the Christmas fayre at church and we’ve managed to raise approx Β£800 for church funds. Very good to say it wasn’t packed. People are so generous.

Then we went to collect the Christmas wreathes which were ready a little sooner than expected, and finally, we put the lights around the trees, so they’re now ready for dressing which I think I’ll start tomorrow. I was going to wait, but as the trees are now up, I might as well continue. We don’t normally do the trees this early, but OH has his op this coming week, so will be out of action for a while.

A lovely looking garden @rowlandscastle444. As you say, enough to keep you busy. It looks a decent plot to work with.

I like the dress, @Busy-Lizzie. A lovely colour.

    Good evening all.

Hazel, hope you are not injured. How it was blown up, just a steam or something else?

Red Maple, excellent work. Enjoy in Christmas lights with your OH. I bet those wreaths look lovely.

I just popped in to say hello and good night. I was at cottage till 5pm, and it was wet, cold and windy. I prepared everything for cold weather so I'm relieved, and now it can snow. It's time for dinner and hot cup of tea. See you all tomorrow.Β Β

Ante, that sounds Β a cold day for you. Warm up and wrap up tonight. When I turned the iron on, there was a loud bang and then a horrible smell came from the iron, but I was ok thanks.
Red Maple, well done on the good amount raised from the Christmas Β Fayre Β towards the church funds. People are generous, aren't they, bless them. Wreaths sound lovely too.
Im signing out for now, have a warm evening everyone. Night all.

I remember your problems with your ironing board Hazel. Hope you do get a new iron sorted out.
@Red maple it sounds like you had a lovely day and you are so right about the generosity of people. A great sum raised!
Ante, a busy day for you but you got your work done. You deserve your rest now.
I am signing out for tonight as well so I'll see you all in the morning.

Cold and windy morning. It's snowing, but still no snow on the ground. All pets are fed, and it's time for cup of tea. I'll prepare mincemeat for my pies. Two days ago I bought a bunch of lovely ingredients for baking. As you can see from photos above, I love colourfully Christmas.Β

Wish you all nice and warm Sunday!

A very good morning one and all. Woke up to a snowy scene this morning. Its feeling a bit Christmassy. Yesterday, the people over the Lane from me put up the strings of lights around their bungalow which are left on all through until 12th night and it is just such a cheery sight. Now for a cuppa.

Good morning Ante. You weren't there when I posted. Goodness me but where has that year gone. Love your pictures and the pansies are beautiful. They always remind me of little faces.
