Good morning Busy and Ruby, it was very hard but then again it was a cup match. I was mentally as well as physically shattered when I got home - still enjoyed it though. Ordinary league match next Monday.

Welcome to England Ante. As you can see we've laid on some British weather for you - sorry about that!๐Ÿ˜Ž
Hope you have a great holiday.

    Afternoon all,

Sounds like proper quizzing that @Ladybird4 :oย ย

They aren't particularly exciting/exotic - an eater (Elstar) and a cooker (Bramley's Seedling).

Weather is glorious here. I'm tempted to skive off for a bit this afternoon, but I'm not sure that I'd get away with it and still meet deadlines....

Great @Ante1 looking good๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ Glad you've made it safely here, and welcome. Now onwards and upwards!
We went out this morning and then we've both been out in the garden all afternoon. OH has put in the new raised bed and added multiple bags, big and small, of manure, compost, topsoil and some vegetable growing compost. It's been well mixed in, almost as good as mixing up ingredients for a cake๐Ÿคญ
Ive been power washing/jet washing everywhere down. We are now filthy, muddy and aching like mad. Gawd, can't move........๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I hope you have a good time in the UK @Ante1.ย ย

We went to Norwich, mostly M&S. They actually had 2 pairs of Per Una slim flare jeans in my size, one in dark grey, the other in blue, bit long but I can put up the hems. They never have the short ones, only regular, despite what the website says. Web site said they had 6 pairs in regular and 2 in short.

We also bought a white pin tucked dress shirt for OH, last one in his size, to go with his dinner jacket for when we go to the Christmas opera dinner in December. His white shirt is in France.ย

On the way home we did a small weekly shop at Waitrose. We rarely go to Waitrose, furthest away of the SMs.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
