My sister-in-law and niece are coming down from Switzerland during the weekend for a few days, so I had better start preparing the bedrooms and think about meals.

Annoying not to have anyone around to fuss over you afterwards, but make sure you have food in, and no pressing chores lined up for the weekend. And some painkillers in stock, and a phone number for a helpful neighbour if you need anything done. And a decent book, some sewing or a box set to watch! Ā Iām sure it will all go fine, donāt forget to update us all on here.Ā Off to Exeter to have the car serviced this morning. Looks like the weather will be pleasant so we will have a walk along the river and round the Quay. Hoping itāll be warm enough to sit outside the bakery with coffee and a freshly made cinnamon bun. I will also drag OH into TKMaxx for a look round, but he does hate shopping. Hoping your symptoms are easing @Hostafan1?
Good weather has ended and we are due some sharp frosts over the next few days. My pre op. Has been confirmed for next week, so might get my surgery in November.
