    ..that's some flooding.. I know you do get that occasionally but has a river overflowed near you @Tack ? or a drainage issue?.. I notice your neighbour has it too..

    It's river flood, we live on the edge of a floodplain.

    That looks awful @Tack, hope the house hasn't been affected as well.

    It will be interesting and hopefully not heart breaking to see what happens to your roses. If it drains away fairly quickly (within a week?) your roses might not be affected too much.
