    Congratulations @Tack how lovely!

Very windy here yesterday but thankfully everything was already fairly well secured! I just trimmed a few climbers whipping about. About 80% of mine are now winter pruned. Getting there! Mostly Austins still going here, Lady Emma, PAOK, LOS, Cadfael, Desdemona, Penelope Lively all covered in buds still... most more buds than leaves!

Im delighted with Desdemona, it smells wonderful and is now showing a beautiful pinky hint to the petals.  Its covered in crisp blooms. It really is exquisite, especially newly planted. I can see why everyone has it now!!

Congratulations 🎉 @Tack. I'm sure you can find a rose or two for the new arrival 😀

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

  • Lovely news @Tack , I suppose it depends on the name if there is an appropriate rose @cooldoc 😁

Heavy rain here too yesterday. Garden is getting into its winter state of sogginess and needs a massive cleanup.

There was a massive wasp nest in summer in the shed which made is inaccessible. I am seeing very few wasps now around garden shed so hopefully soon I can get rake, pruners and other tools out to start work.
