    I feel sorry for those suffering from flooding and/or soggy conditions but wish you could send some rain my way.

    Anyone here that lurks on or indeed is a member of the Houzz rose forum (Marlorena, Alfie?).  I can’t get into it as the box you have to tick to accept/reject cookies first is not responding. Is it a site glitch, a lurker deterrent or just me?

    @Nollie, I don't visit that forum now a days but I checked and I can open it on desktop. Took multiple clicks on that cookie accept button.

    Congratulations @Tack .. you're going to be busy..

    @Nollie
    I've just checked and no issue here, although I don't look so much these days..
    You might like to change the url to gardenweb.com and see if that works..

    ..or try this link..  it will switch it back to Houzz if you click on something else, but you might get access..

    Incidentally, whilst I'm here, did you go to the recent rose festival near Barcelona?  I also hear the old Pedro Dot rose nursery is closing down permanently.

    Thanks Newbie and Marlorena, still not working for me despite many multiple clicks. Your link via gardenweb didn’t work either, unfortunately, it just took me directly to Houzz and the same problem! Perhaps it’s my browser. I do find it useful occasionally for warm climate roses, although none match mine exactly.

    Ha, that’s a very sore point Marlorena! I made the effort to go, only to find there was an unadvertised closure to the public that day. That followed last year’s aborted attempt to go to the Cervantes rose garden only to be stuck in incomprehensible diversions due to metro construction works for nearly 2 hours. I’ve sworn off going to Barcelona ever again 😆 It doesn’t surprise me the Dot nursery has closed, it’s been limping feebly along for some time, I suspect. I’ve never seen a Dot rose for sale anywhere here, it’s all Poulsen and Meilland HTs in the GCs.

    Try a different browser?

    I remember that from last year @Nollie re Barcelona.. how coincidental..

    I wonder if it's an issue with your cookies and site permissions.. I don't get asked to accept cookies even though I am not logged in to the site.

    I’m clearly fated never to see roses in Barcelona, Marlorena.

    Houzz/Gardenweb have worked fine in the past, but something might’ve changed after an update to Safari or the iPad, or it’s my Sat internet which is very slow at the moment. I’m not going to lose sleep over it, it will either sort itself out or it won’t!
