    Hi all

Sun and heat have gone, hoeing it down. A day for catching up on paperwork.

    Morning all.

A new puppy! How lovely @Nanny Beach. I love Border Collies but they need a lot of exercise. I've had them for over 40 years, no longer as we travel too much.

We had a huge storm in the night. More forecast. I'm off to Norfolk today. I hope the flight isn't cancelled.

What an adorable looking puppy, @Nanny Beach. She’ll keep you busy 😁.
Very wet here this morning, but it’s good for the garden. Feels a lot cooler too, so it’ll be indoor tasks today, I think.
Best of luck at the dentist @coccinella. No wonder you’re feeling angry with them.
    Have a good day everyone.

Good luck with the bone scan today @Lizzie27.

That puppy is going to keep you busy @Nanny Beach. My daughter keeps urging us to get a dog but apart from the fact that I don't think we could cope with the demands of one I rather think there are already far too many dogs around here already.

Much cooler today.  A good day to go blackberry picking but sadly I things have stepped up again as we approach the food & drink market and the launch of the food & drink trail.  The designers have sent the proofs so they have to be gone over carefully - already one of  the businesses we were going to feature has closed and is opening in the next door shop, which is bigger.  But will it be selling the same kind of things?  They don't answer emails.  So they might have to come out of the trail.

    Anyone want any tomatoes?

  • No tomatoes thanks, just some rain! Phillipa Drew said last night and my phone app today says it's rain,OH,NO IT ISN'T,it's warm, sunny blue sky, fluffy white clouds.

Afternoon all. Bone scan was just routine, I have them every 3 years. Did find out that I've lost 3" in height though, I knew I was tiny but now it's official! Results in 5-8 weeks and I'm hoping they won't show any deterioration since the last one. I walked further this morning than I've done for months so that was good. A bit breathless still but ok.

Cleaner's been so we're all nice and tidy ready for our friends to arrive shortly and the gardener's postponed till Friday which is more convenient for us anyway.

It's very muggy and we've had some rain showers. I think I need to go round and water all the pots anyway, I last did them Saturday am.

    Evening all.

I'm back in Norfolk with OH. Plane was late, probably because of thunderstorms, drove through one in the way to Bergerac airport. Tipping rain on the A11 in England. Back here at 8.30pm. Had a stir fry chicken and Prosecco, followed by strawberries and cream.

Hubby was driven to Canberra by a Community Driver to have a bone density scan this morning. He has just rung to say he’s out at 10.20 am and is just  waiting for the driver and then home in about an hour and a half. Apparently the need for the test is because of the cancer medication and suspicions that it could cause problems. 😳. It never ends, does it!  As soon as one thing seems to be helpful, then you find out it could cause other problems. Sigh! Pixel and I stayed in bed. 😊

Sunny outside and starting to warm up.   Have a good day everyone.
