Oh @tui34 I am so sorry it was so painful, you say it is better now, so at least the injection is working. I did one in my back last year but it had no effect whatsoever. I am keeping fingers crossed for you.
@Pat E what do you do falling while taking pictures? Are you OK now? I just hope the wind dies down and the fires are put out without consequences. What times we live now, that flood in Lybia, poor, poor people.
@Busy-Lizzie those knitted dolls are adorable. Especially the hedgehogs.
@Ergates it is nice to hear positive comments about urban developments, usually it is the other way round 😀. Bath is so gorgeous though, that stone at sunset is beautiful. I should visit again.
Off to the bakers now. Have all a lovely saturday.
He’s still in the fire truck Dove with the team. They are waiting for a replacement team to take over I think. Getting fed up here 😏. It’s dinner time as well as I know he’ll need a shower etc.
Thank you for your comments. It does make sense that the needle went into a nerve. Lucky you @Ergates with your hip. I have very little cartilage left in this hip, so part of it is bone on bone. I do plenty of exercise(s) but you cannot make cartilage unfortunately. When it's gone it's, gone.
Good photos @Pat E I hope the fires didn't come too near you. I expect you can open the doors of your veranda to your lounge to get the heat coming in? Try and stay upright!!!! Had more than one @floralies Le Plan de Dieu - Côtes de Rhone 15% went down a treat! Not too expensive if you're looking for a nice red. Thanks @coccinella - the agony was just while the fluid was injected. I hope it works too, but a new hip will be inevitable next year. Just staving off the obvious. The surgeon won't operate until there is no more cartilage left or this infiltration doesn't work.
As Beziers is sick of walking in unscooped dog poop, the mayor has put in a compulsive DNA for Dogs Project - now owners must have a passport with their dog's DNA on it - unscooped poop dog owners will get a fine. Not a bad idea, is it? And of course the bag must be properly disposed of.
Well, I am late for my couch appointment!! Have an enjoyable Saturday. Expecting buckets of rain this afternoon!!
Oh dear @Pat E … put the kettle on, have a cuppa and put your feet up. I can send you a dippy egg and toasty soldiers by pigeon post if that would help?
