Absolutely hammering down here, there are puddles on the back grass. So glad we cut it at the weekend.
Morning HazelΒ  @Songbird-2 so sorry to hear your daughter is in hospital. Hope you get the results soon and all goes well. I can imagine how you must be feeling. You've had such worrying times these last few months. Sending a hug.
Happy birthday to your OH. πŸŽπŸΊπŸŽ‚

Thansk @star gaze lily and @Ladybird4. Daughter has her scan presents back, all clear. They thought she had pancreatitis but it's clear of that. On antibiotics now and is feeling a bit better this morning. Hoping to come home tomorrow.

OH has had his tooth attended to and we then went to big town, which is totally demolished now. All the High Street is gone, but we had a look around a few shops there and got a few more things for 23 to keep him entertained when visiting. Popped a cheque into the bank and came home.

Now for a rest this afternoon, it's been constantly drizzling all day so too wet for anything outside. Son is popping in tonight after work.

My Stress Indicator Β is slowly falling again nowπŸ€πŸ˜‚

Oh Hazel, that good news re the scan must have really uplifted you today. I am so pleased to read your post. Your town does sound so much like mine. It is very sad isn't it. Have a bit of a rest now.

Ruby, it has never stopped here so I've been doing indoor stuff. I know what I would have preferred to have been doing!

    Good evening my friends.Β
It's Friday evening, and I have whole weekend just for resting. Today was still sunny and warm, but I can see clouds coming. Forecast is rain and wind, and significant temps drop. I was at cottage yesterday, and while I was up my first package with seeds arrived. I also booked hotel for my short holiday, and in month and seven days I'll be in London. Now is time for dinner, tea and reading back.

Hope you all had a lovely day.Β

Good evening Ante. Ooh that is exciting! Have you any plans for your visit? What seeds did you get? Are they veggies for next year?

Evening LB. It's veggie and flower seeds for next year. It's not all, but I have everything important. I have some plans for my visit, and one thing will be Kew. I will also ask for some recommendations for book shops, good pub and few other things here on forum. Hope someone is from London. It's always better to have advice from first hand. One family from my town live in London, so I will meet with them and bring few presents from his mother.Β Β

You should try and look at Foyles book shop Ante - it is one of the best but there are others and I'm sure the family you are meeting up with will know of good pubs.
Have you been in London before? If not then you should try to see Big Ben and Trafalgar Square. I like the Natural History Museum. You could visit the National Art Gallery, Tower Bridge, The London Eye, Westminster Abbey and the British Museum. Just a few things for you to think about.
