Good morning Rosie and all to follow.

Rosie, hope you went back to sleep.ย

It's lovely sunny and fresh morning. Still nothing of the rain, but at least it's not hot. I don't have any special plan for today, maybe tidy a bit front garden and store properly all herbs for winter. I'll have one week off on the end of November, and this year I'll make a small trip. Nothing serious, just four or five days. Now is tea time.

Good morning Rosie, Ante and all still to arrive.
Busy, a lovely description of your special day.
Ante, you have something nice to look forward to at the end of November. I've got my first cup of 'nectar' and it is delicious!
I got two new clemmies the other day so getting them planted out is on my 'to do' list.

Morning Ruby. It is one of the Orb Web spiders.
Beware of those rose thorns - they can be deadly!

Thank you for information on the spider LB.I love to look at all the different webs ,so intricateย
  • Morning everyone, so sorry haven't read back. But did notice the spiders Web. Love seeing them on misty autumn mornings, so pretty full of dew.ย
Sorry for being AWOL these last few weeks, but haven't been great and haven't had much to say.ย
Went to a GC Friday with a friend and I bought some plants for winter pots. Potted them up yesterday and very pleased with them. Sons came over yesterday afternoon and cut the grass for me. I did the front, but was very grateful for the help with the back as it's quite big and I can only get so far with the hover mower.ย
Today is a bit overcast and grey, but still warm. We've had beautiful sunshine all week and yesterday too.
@Songbird-2 hope your mum is well and she's settling in to her new surroundings.ย
Hope you're all well, take care everyone. x

  • Sorry I missed your birthday @Busy-Lizzie hope you had a lovely day. Very best wishes for a belated happy birthday. ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿพ

    Morning all.
We have lots of spiders in the garden this year, far more than normal. After LB said the spider was an Orb Spider Rubee, I looked it up on -line and found this bizarre spider, what a cracker ( but I wouldn't ย want to meet one๐Ÿ˜ฌ)....

@star gaze lily, it's nice to see you. Hopefully the grass won't need many more cuts before we can all have a rest from mowing. Cheers the spirits going the garden centres and good to hear you got some plants and potted them up for winter. Mum is just getting over covid but is doing okay thanks.ย
Ante, the holiday/break will, do you good. You work so hard you deserve a break so get plenty of rest and relaxation. Also, something nice to look forward to.
Busy, your birthday sounds marvellous with plenty to do, eat and drink๐Ÿ™‚
