LB I can picture you drying Lily with a towel and her being nearly dry and settling in a cosy corner. Lily I did have a rest under my dressing gown with some cat company. I hope you’re rested too. Good afternoon, It’s turned into a showery afternoon with sunny intervals. There was some heat from the sun earlier when it broke through the clouds and we managed to have our coffee outside. OH has sorted the area where the acer had been, getting rid of the roots (took a bit of effort), then levelling the ground off, put several layers of weed suppressant down and topped with slate before placing a slab on top and further slate around its edges so it looks sunk into the slate ready for the half standard rose we’ve ordered. Should be here November time (bare root). We’ll look for a nice pot to put it in and stand the pot onto some wheels so we can keep a look out for any errant roots 😅. I can’t remember the name of the rose, will have to look it up again, but it’s fragranced and is lemon yellow with orangey/red outer petals. I think there’s the word “peace” in the title. Goodness, my memory and I only ordered it yesterday!😂😂
Busy, I suspected that might happen with the album. Great hilarity and warm feelings all round.
I stayed at Jack's a little longer than expected but got back in time to eat and then watch The Hundred ladies final. Got the men's coming up now. It has been a rather cold and rainy day. What can we expect though? It is a Bank Holiday after all.
Hazel, I hope that you have had a fun day and are not locked up somewhere inside a Lego (other building bricks available) castle.

One more Monday and last one without students in the school. I'll go to cottage this afternoon. Hope that I'll not need to water everything.
