It's another warm and sunny morning. We managed yesterday go to cottage and came home quite late. I'm finished with my tea, and now must hurry to school. It's almost 8 o'clock.
Good morning Rosie, Biglad and Ante. Yellow weather warning for heavy rain here Rosie so I'm glad my watering job will not be needed just yet. Great night last night.Much fun enjoyed.
Ante, my tea is by me as I type!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
There was a huge storm in the night, woke me up, bit scary. I unplugged the Internet, it's still working this morning. More storms are forecast this afternoon. Orange weather warning. I hope it doesn't affect my flight.
I did watering last night, needn't have bothered.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all. Raining here and looks like it's been raining overnight too. The temperatures are a lot cooler today, thankfully. Feels more like September should now. Busy, have a safe journey, you'll be like us visiting mum, you do the journey that much /that often that we think the car could drive itself there๐
Morning all, heavy rain here this morning. It started yesterday evening. Itโll be doing the plants good. Indoor tasks today, I think. Safe journeys to all of you undertaking them.
Hoorah, it has finally stopped raining. Yesterday before I went quizzing I checked on my car after its hosing and it looked exactly as it had done before I started. I could have saved my time!ย Never mind, it will get valeted at the garage when it goes in tomorrow for its MOT.
No further news on Jack and unfortunately I did not get the call from the tree surgeon yesterday, as promised, so I may have to look somewhere else.
I am signing out for today. Hope everyone enjoys their evenings and I trust Busy is safely back in the UK. I cannot remember what time she was flying. See you all in the morning. Fingers crossed for a better day!

Ive had a pottering type of day although we did pop out to SM this afternoon. We had to put a woolly and our jackets on as it was cold out. What a difference ย a day makes, we were sweltering yesterday, today ย it's 15 ย degrees with a chilly wind. However, we did come back with some Ch***t**s gifts so it was worth it. Can't believe I'm thinking about you-know - what already๐
I've got my knitting out tonight and the blanket Im doing is keeping my legs nice and warm.
Son has to take his garage back to garage...again...as a mysterious knocking noise has started up after he'd got the car back the other day. Goodness knows what's going on with it but it's one thing after another.
Hope everyone is doing okay, at work, travel and home.
We've not had a drop of rain here in Kent. Probably means I'll need to water the garden. But I know it's coming. At least I don't expect us to be as flooded as parts of Libya.
Busy wishing you a good journey. ย LB heavy rain all day, wore my raincoat out. ย Hazel the temps here are to cool but still in summer clothes as yet. ย Rosie
