Thanks @steephill - Bungay is my home town!  And the festival she refers to is the one I have just been totally involved in.  And - I also have that dress she is wearing!!!!

Are you sure you still have if @didyw, and she didn’t raid your wardrobe while you were sticking fur on the black dog? 😉

Still glued to the TV watching the Women’s road race in Glasgow. Still 70 km to go. Luckily Hubby recorded it a couple of days ago,so we can stop and start at will. 👏👏

Afternoon all, we had intended to use the P & R into town this morning to visit a particular shop but fortunately I remembered to ring them first to check if they were open - which they weren't. Unfortunately I didn't think to ring them before I got all dressed up! So, a bit of a of what shall I do now morning. Not a lot as it turned out.
Researched tradespeople online as we're thinking of having our drive redone, looked at old photos etc and drank coffee. Did some ironing but then felt a rather lightheaded so had to stop.
The gardener's just arrived and is going to weed the main front border which is now very overgrown. It seems odd to watch somebody else do my gardening but I shall like the results.

Good for you @tui34, may the new friendship continue well.

    How's the road race going @Pat E?

Still racing around blocks of buildings Lizzie. There have been lots of falls 😩

we just had a sheep grazers warning appear  n our watches. They say there could be problems for the lambs. I hate thinking about the poor little thing’s leaving their warm mothers tummy and ending on freezing cold grass. 🙈

@tui34 that sounds lovely and I’m very happy for you! I think once you’re used to living by yourself and doing things your own way it can be hard to have someone around you constantly, I do quite like my time to myself every so often too

Whew!  That race finish was absolutely fantastic.   I’m out of puff just watching it.  Night all. Time for bed. 😂
