My niece just phoned … my brother passed away in hospital this morning. All his family were with him.

That’s a shock, Dove. I hope you and yours can come to terms with it!

We went out the back today to clean up some more dry wood for the wood fire. It’s still cold down here - minus 3 this morning.  I took a couple of photos to show what’s growing out there. Signs of spring trying to emerge on the various Acacias.

I also was amused to see a lump of aged “poo” with seeds in it that have tried to germinate.  Probably from a Roo, but don’t know what seeds there are.

Thank you all … I’m fine … we knew his health was precarious. He had the life he’d always wanted and a family who loved him. He already had two grandchildren and immunotherapy gave him long enough to enjoy four new ones and know that a fifth is on the way.  He was a lucky man.
