Been a bit down today, still not sleeping and the general 5 days post op. phenomenon. None of it helped by the continuous rain, stopping me sitting out. I think things are probably progressing quite well, so hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Grrr! Ā The bulb thingy in the round fluorescent ceiling light in the bathroom has just āgoneā. OH canāt use a stepladder with his foot all bandaged, Ā and sonās hands and arms arenāt up to using a small screwdriver above his head on screws that look as if theyāre rusted in. Weāve got someone coming to renew the grouting and redecorate in there, but not until October ā¦ at least weāve got the light over the mirror š Yesterday one of the sitting room doorhandleās innards Ā deconstructed ā¦ so this year, since sonās accident, itās been the food processor, the washing machine, the cooker, the toaster, a fridge shelf, and the vacuum cleaner, the door handle ā¦ and now itās the bathroom light ā¦ in the normal course of events the light is a small thing ā¦ but why now??? šĀ
In the meantime, letās hope we all have a restful night ā¦ sweet dreams everyone š š š šĀ

Oh dear, Dove. Weāve replaced several things this year as well. Microwave, Foreman Grill, Main Oven, etc. etc. I feel useless in the kitchen. When Iām feeling more like getting involved, Hubby will show me how to use them.š³
