@punkdoc I discovered in my 50s that I have white coat syndrome! 50s!!! I mocked my poor dad mercilessly for having blood pressure readings like telephone numbers and now I have to eat humble pie. There's sweating and shaking and shock and and and... What a shambles. No matter how bad you get you will not be this bad. 🤣
You know you're going to be fine don't you? Stomach breathing and heavy muscles and it'll be over in no time. 😷

Good evening everyone,  a mixed day here. Our American visitor goes home tomorrow,  as he is so interested in insects etc, I rigged up a moth trap, out of scrap bits and pieces and used a compact fluorescent light with my inspection lead light. To my utter amazement it worked and he got a dozen moths to look at as SD'S  house this morning.
Spent my morning tidying up one of our large standard Acers. Had to join Dove supervising the Tennis this afternoon,  very tense.
Best wishes to @punkdoc for tomorrow,  I had a procedure on my eye under sedation a few years ago, I honestly don't remember any of it , may as well have been under full anaesthetic.  I  am well aware your op is a much biggest thing but I  am sure they will look after you.

Morning all. I add my positive good wishes to Punkdoc. I’m looking forward to getting your positive response in a day or so.

really cold when I got up this morning. I’ve stoked the fire up with more wood and am now waiting on the lounge chair to feel the benefit. Bit slow, I must say.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
It’s a beautiful morning and hopefully @punkdoc has arrived at the hospital for his op. We’re all thinking of you @punkdoc and sending positive thoughts to you and the medical team looking after you … lots of hugs cuppas and  biscuits for Moira ☕️ 🍪 Looking forward to hearing that you’re bored and ready to go home.
     ❤️ 🤞
We had a cracking storm and a fair bit of rain last evening just as son was arriving home … but I forgot to go and check the gauge so I’ve no idea how much. 🙄
Mrs NDN is coming round for coffee this morning … we’ve been meaning to do that ever since she retired last year, but then her husband retired and they had a lot on, daughter visiting from Australia etc, and then son had his accident … so now we’ve made a date and it’s today and I’ve  bought nice biscuits …

thinking of you @punkdoc and looking forward to see a post from you even if it just says hello. You need rest anyway.

All went well yesterday, got to my appointments with no trouble. Now we wait.
This morning I went out to cut the kale as it begins to be attacked by all sorts, so before they finish it I will have some of it, thank you very much.
This morning I will go to the pool, don't really want to, but it is necessary for my back and bones and this afternoon a man is coming to repair a blocked shutter, hopefully it won't cost the earth like everything else here.
OH is feeling a bit down this morning, he cleared the shelves of his Cisco books: the end of an era for him even if this should have happened when he retired 5 years ago. It took this long for him to pick up the courage. One day I will chuck my OU books. And the rest.

Have a good day all and especially Moira (punk will be sleepy most of the day)

Meant to say that Hubby printed out that pattern Dove.😳. I have no idea how he does all these sort of things on his computer, but I assumed he’d ordered it online. 😳 The truth is that I don’t want to know how to do more on the iPad. I can manage just enough for puzzles, games, and chatting to you all. That’s enough for me.

The end result is the important thing @Pat E … you’ve got the pattern 👍 I really like that one … I find it pleasant to knit and Wonky says they’re warm but don’t impede her work.
Also you can make the hand bit or sleeve bit longer or shorter so easily, as suits the individual.

    Hi all

Well I have been admitted, op. Seems to be going ahead, but last on list, so not until late pm. Need to try and calm down.

    Good morning all,
Thank you everyone for your kind wishes. I've had the past two days off so have been hobbling around doing housework and cooking birthday dinner for step son. I'm going to try going to work today but going for a test drive first. Print a shoe on is the most painful part!!!!

Sending best wishes to @D0rdogne_Damsel,  my wise Young Mum has always said, " look over your shoulder and see how far you've come!"

Sending very best wishes to @punkdoc and Moira. Your in the best of hands and we will be with you in spirit! I'm sure there will be a supply of baked goods and drinks on here waiting for you!

Have a great day all 😀
