I believe that’s Mr Pitt … but not in the pit lane 😉

It was supposed to be Brad Pitt, filming his latest film but they also had his body doubles filming I understand.  He didn't look 59 though!

Sorry, should have added, suggest you get your toe looked at? @WonkyWomble?
Update. Son in law said it 100% was him. Body double just did driving, helmeted kinda shots.

Make up did a good job then.

Dove, you log on occasionally to your local neighbourhood site if I remember rightly but what's it called please? Do locals advertise their jobs/services on it?

Ouch @WonkyWomble, you have my sympathy.  I  don't think I said anything before but,  3days before we went away I slipped off the 3step of my step ladder. Steps went one way I went the other.  My foot was blue and swollen for the first week of our trip. All gone now but 6 weeks on if I  move a certain way I still get a sharp pain.  Might have to give in and get it looked at.

Poor poor Wonky, that does sound bad. Do like the idea though of your travelling gardening tour for forum members! Hope you make a quick recovery.
Sorry to hear about your woes, Lizzie27. Hope all get over their aches and pains. Hope Punkdoc finds some suitable light reading for hospital and recovery. I’m re reading my collection of Jack Reacher stories, I find them strangely restful!
i was hoping to be signed off today after recent surgery, but I still have an irritating niggle which hasn’t resolved yet. To keep an eye on it, and report back in a month if it hasn’t settled. Don’t want any more investigations, so I hope it gets better on its own. Rather tiresome.

@Lizzie27 it’s called Nextdoor.com. There’s a US and UK version. There’s the usual number of idiots whinging and ranting … but if you ignore them I’ve found it a good place to get recommendations for local tradesmen and women.

I look at Nextdoor too @Lizzie27. It is news from people around our village and neighbouring villages. Stuff like village fairs, plant sales, lost dogs. I found our gardener for when we are away through it.

I've been pruning and elderly Albertine rose and and a honeysuckle with lots of dead in it. Filled the brown bin. Why on earth did someone plant them in the same hole? Have scratched arms.

Thanks Dove and Busy-Lizzie. I knew it was something like that but couldn't bring it to mind. Brain fog!

Been there and done that Wonky. 😳  Make sure you strap the toes in line or they’ll always be crooked afterwards. As a fellow gardener working in other peoples gardens, I know what it’s like. Take it easy. Memories!
