I do wish we had one @Busy-Lizzie, I've just had to put the hosepipe on the veg again.
Everything's bone dry and there are big cracks in the beds and the lawn. The upside is that I can't do any weeding!

OH was watching the Barcelona GP on TV where it threatened to rain heavily but didn't in the end.

No rain tonight please … the new washing machine washed a quilted mattress protector today and as it was still damp I’ve left it  on the line 🤞

    Morning Forkers

Good you had some rain @Busy-Lizzie, please give it directions towards Luxembourg.
I did chuck 3 Hydrangea a couple of years ago because of the water requirements and guess what my friend gave me yesterday as a present for coming to lunch? 😣

Today it is going to be chores, including some blouse searching for the wedding.

    Good morning all.

Lucky you @Busy-Lizzie   Oh for a decent downpour - preferably at night!!  Fabulous picture of the green lizard!

Lovely morning with lots of strata but the sun is out.  Our temperatures are mild for this time of year and nights coolish.  We had 24°C yesterday which is my kind of weather!!

Swiss Ball lesson this morning.  My hip is still painful but after a cortisone injection in my knee 10 days ago, it seems to be better.  I phoned my physio who helpfully suggested that maybe the crack in the knee had disturbed something in the hip thus the pinch.  I'm hopeful.

I hope you all have a pleasant Monday.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
How do you like my new hairdo?  OH cut it short and spiked for me yesterday … think Annie Lennox … I’m very pleased. 😎

We have a busy morning ahead … I’m driving OH to a 9:30 appointment so will have to leave early cos of rush hour traffic. Then we have to go to the Parcel Force place to collect a package that came earlier than expected and no one was in on either day they tried to deliver it.
We’ll leave son dozing…. if we leave the cafetière etc ready for him he can make himself a mug of coffee and some cereals … we’ll get him dressed when we get back.

We have a ‘new’ blackbird living nearby … he seems to have added a selection of ringtones to his repertoire! His favourite is the opening bars of Beethoven’s Fifth!

Up at 4am to be picked up by hospital transport, then from north Kent, via Tonbridge, to London.
    Now I wait!!

    Morning all.

I hope you don't have to wait too long @rowlandscastle444.

Yesterday afternoon I painted the rest of the horizontal bit of the landing ceiling, undercoat. The ceiling isn't very high and part of it is sloped. OH said he'd do the bits I can't reach today. I'd left it for a bit as the weather was nice so I did gardening.

Afternoon folks. Had a quick back read, thought didyw was going to the "gay" club! Today am off to the next town (pretty little place) for late lunch as a thank you for volunteering for the parish/local council. Hubby is doubled up (don't tell him I told you) with constipation (or construction according to the phone!) That's what happens when you eat meat (a lot) and don't like veg or salad! My oldest daughter is coming with me instead. She's had a raw deal recently,(it needs to go on the curmudgeon site)
