    Good morning

I am sorry @Lizzie27. Are you feeling a bit better now?

There has been night rain too, this morning we did more cherry tree cutting, that's about what we can manage for the moment. There's seems to be a full tree on the ground but hardly a dent if you look up.

One bit of tooth broke so a visit to the dentist this afternoon.

You do have your work cut out @Dovefromabove. I wish you strength 💪. Is Womble very busy? I haven't seen her much recently. Say hello from us.

    Have a good day all.

@coccinella 🙏 yes @WonkyWomble  is very busy … it’s a busy time of year for gardeners  … however she and her lovely hub are coming here tomorrow to move her brother’s bed back upstairs … it’s more than OH and I can manage on our own, what with our dodgy knees and infected toe. Bless them ❤️ He’s been sleeping in the sitting room since he came out of hospital and now that he can manage the stairs it really is time for that to end … this house is quite open plan and needs a space of his own  and we need our sitting room back 😆

I feel for you @Lizzie27!  And for all those packing and sorting for trips away - it will all be fine and you'll wonder what you were worrying about.

Glad you enjoyed the Norfolk Show @Busy-Lizzie - you went on the right day, so avoided the rain there.

It was nice and steady here for a good amount of time, which the garden appreciated.
Looks as if we are being plunged into winter next week, according to the BBC weather app:

But I've read there is a glitch in the app.  Let's hope it's not a glitch in the weather!

I saw that glitch @didyw but the Met Office didn't agree with it! We chose to go to the show on Wednesday because of the forecast rain on Thursday, but Prince William went on Thursday midday and the sun came out.

The wardrobe man came around 10:30 , so I went to the plots and sowed more climbing French beans . Hopefully these will be more robust than the ones I raised earlier in the year.  Like a lot more things they grew ok initially but have since stalled and have hardly grown any more. Just in from cutting the  grass at home,  it's trying to rain, so I took the chance to give it a liquid feed to see if I can perk it up a bit.

Our rain has been persisting all day long. Very good for the garden.
    Full butts all round.
I had Cruze Bereavement Support call me today. I thanked them for contacting me, but suggested there are many who need their support more than I do.

Not good. Tooth cannot be saved. Additionally the osteoporosis cure might severely interfere with the jaw bone. So she has to ask the rheumatologist whether an extraction and implant is wise. Not to mention the cost. There's a lot worse, I know.

Oh dear, poor @coccinella. Awkward when medical problems preclude the treatments you want or need. Is a bridge an option?
Thanks, @Lizzie27 and @Dovefromabove, for your reassuring advice. We had plenty of supplies with us, although OH rolled his eyes when I suggested putting a couple of folding chairs in the car. In the event of a breakdown, I though it would be a lot more comfortable sitting on the other side of the protective barrier waiting for the AA, than it would standing for possibly hours, or trying to sit on damp grass!
We trundled along in heavy traffic on the M5, often at a standstill, no apparent reason as we saw no roadworks or broken down vehicles, maybe just the sheer volume of cars. However, we got to our overnight stop outside Bristol and have just enjoyed a picnic in our room! Off to Oxford in the morning, will be staying with daughter, so once we get there, we can just relax and recover. Lots of rain here, I hope we are getting that back home too, I forgot to water a couple of the pots before we left.
Hope everyone has a good weekend, see you in July!

Oh that’s a pita @coccinella … hope you/they can come up with an acceptable way forward.

    Sending you hugs @Hostafan1 😘

Glad the journey was incident free @Ergates … I love picnics in hotel bedrooms 😊 and  have a lovely time with your daughter 😃

    Evening all,

Glad to hear you've reached your overnight stop safely @Ergates and have a nice weekend with your daughter. Oxford is one of my favourite places as my mum's family hailed from nearby and later both children also lived and worked in Oxford at some stage.

That's rotten news about the tooth @coccinella and I know dental treatment is one of the drawbacks of the osteoporosis meds, hopefully they'll give you the ok.

Had another long session with the osteopath this afternoon. I was pushed, pulled, rotated and manipulated, felt like I'd had ten sessions with Tyson by the time I got home! OH made me a cuppa and I promptly fell asleep in the armchair. I do feel much better, just hoping it lasts. Thanks for the good wishes folks, much appreciated when you're feeling low.

Enjoy your day with Wonky and her OH @Dovefromabove, I'm sure it will be a relief all round if Rob can have his own space/bedroom again and you get your sitting room back.
