Afternoon folks. I had an email, you know the ones, like when Dove gives me a nudge, from Alyciagordon330, Gardeners world Magazine it says, regarding a post I put in 2021, about the conservatory getting too hot. She says "I know that's a long time ago, but think it's relevant at the moment because of the weather" When I try to read it....it says "page expired", it came through today. Any thoughts?

Evening all, hope all is well.

I’ve just done some quick ‘damage limitation’ prophylactics for some of the garden plants (propped a floppy Hydrangea, sheltered ‘the’ pumpkin and a few pots of Cosmos etc) ahead of the forecast heavy rain overnight. We will see what the night brings…

Take care folks and sleep well.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
16C and overcast this morning … and we have the promise of more rain today. If it could be aimed at our gardens and fields and manage not to interrupt the tennis and cricket I’d be very grateful … whoever is in charge of such things 😉

    Good morning all.

Warm ad humid here.  Rain everywhere else but here!!  Am driving my patient back to Montpellier today.  Ahhh!

I hope everyone is enjoying the weather you have.  Have a good day.

    Morning all.

Weather here is the same as @Dovefromabove's.  Probably an ironing and HW day. I do have plants to plant though after my trip to the GC yesterday. I planted some yesterday but there is still a coreopsis and a gaillardia for a sunny spot, 2 alpines for the gravel slope and a tray of bedding begonias fo a shady spot.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning all,no I haven't just got up!! AuntieRach, you are SOOH posh .. like me. Folk at work used to say I "talked posh", some asked if I had swallowed a dictionary!!! Checked garden, for wind and rain damage. Those with dogs will know the pitfalls!! I forgot glove/bag! Having been pain free for 4 days, thoroughly enjoying myself, gardening, long beach/park walking with said dog,I couldn't sleep last night! I was nodding off at midnight, staggered off to bed, still awake at 3.30, heard hubby get up (4 apparently) he now has the hacking cough. Ordered him to the spare room to sleep upright! I've just spent a few nights in there. 3 Covid tests, all negative!!
