I saw lots of rain on my travels today.
I got home to find I'd not even had enough to run out of the hose from the downpipe. Not a drop.

Evening all and welcome (back) @plant pauper.

Busy day with Aunty activities. We made some markers for the veg - cut out letters and stuck to a wooden stake, then varnished over with glue.

Trying to ward off the ‘back to school’ feeling tonight so just made a cup of ‘sleep’ tea (camomile, Passion flower, apple and cinnamon) and will watch/listen to something in bed.

No rain AGAIN here either! Was on thunder forecast watch all day but just cloudy.

Take care all and have a good week ahead.

Now we have proper rain … the first since well before my son left hospital and came here … it’s much needed … and the app says it should carry on until at least midnight … 😊 🌧

And here!  Night everybody. OH is going to stay up to watch the Canadian GP but I'm so tired, I'm nearly asleep so off to bed once I've loaded the dishwasher.

We had light rain,  for over an hour earlier but nowhere near enough.
Hopefully if we have more in the night it may do some good.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
We had some rain overnight … it seems fresher out there … but I don’t  think the butts will be full. Its 16C at the moment, and apparently we have a sunny day ahead …
