That's a nice reward DD! Something to show for all your efforts.

I've got the binoculars out and am watching a young deer with antlers on the hillside opposite our house, so excited. They come out from the wood at dusk so we sometimes see them but not often. Not seen one with antlers before though, but have seen a mother and baby which was magical.

Good evening everyone,  sounds like many of us watched yesterday's events. We had the radio commentary on in the kitchen while we were preparing our family lunch, we also had TV on in the lounge, interesting to note the TV coverage was at least a full minute behind the radio, so we were able to watch the most important bits "live" as we knew when they were coming on.😀
After a dull start it turned into a really lovely warm day. Allotments this am garden in the afternoon.  Just my kind of day😉

Watched the entire coronation coverage, much to my surprise, and found it very enjoyable. I’m not a fan of some of the very formal hymns, but the gospel choir was great fun, and I thought Penny Mordaunt was just superb, obviously missed her true calling as a sword bearer!
Been packing my bag for trip to hospital tomorrow, if I don’t post by next week, I’ve really enjoyed your company, live long and prosper!
Very noisy owls outside tonight, very close to the house. Quite spooky!
    Night all, keep warm, PatE!

Best of luck, @Ergates, although I don’t think luck really comes into it.

  • We had our Coronation street party on Sunday. The usual - food, drink, games, music and some dancing. Raffle as well but I didn't win anything.
Despite a wacking big sign at the top of the road umpteen drivers never saw it. We had 2 and even 3 cars doing 3 point turns at a time.

I’m awake but taking a while to get warm.  Fire stirred up, but the living  room is still cold. I can see our highest hill today and there’s a bit of snow up there. Not surprised.
